Mescalito Coffee

I was looking for a nice coffee shop to grab a chai for the road. Mescalito delivered! It’s atmosphere was artsy, while still being cozy! It had interesting art on the walls and plenty of plants. Two amazing things in my book! I ended up getting a dirty iced chai and it was really good. It leaned more toward the spice side of chai over the sweet. Not to say it wasn’t also sweet, just more spice. I would definitely recommend checking them out.

My boyfriend and I LOVE Mescalito! It’s a little pricey, but soooo worth it. We attend blinn and always make it a goal to keep Mescalito in our college kid budget. It’s also the best place to study town. The staff is consistently friendly and the atmosphere is one of a kind. Whenever I meet new people, it’s the first place I recommend. Definitely worth the trip!

Love Mescalito, second time in Brenham, second time at Mescalito. Great coffee, yummy cinnamon roll, obviously a super cute atmosphere and we love perusing Bird Dog while we are there. Will come back anytime we are in town. Not overly warm and welcoming if that matters to you but service was quick and I care most about atmosphere and quality of drinks.

Delicious coffee, friendly staff, incredible vibes. The location of this coffee shop is what bumps it from your average 4 star to a 5er. They had a large variety of different drinks and a fun special menu (I got the maple oat cold brew, it was killer) and an awesome sampling of coffee tchotchkes if you’re ever looking for gifts.

Couldn’t imagine Brenham without Mescalito! We’ve found our people here, in addition to the great coffee and food. Exceptional offerings and vibes.

Gem of a coffee shop in downtown Brenham, definitely a good surprise. This place is incredibly thoughtfully designed and has top notch espresso drinks. Try their Mescalito Mocha.

THE best coffee shop between Austin & Houston! 👏🏼👏🏼 My husband and I NEVER make a trip to Houston without stopping here! The coffee and pastries are both excellent — the blueberry scone is the best one we’ve ever had. It’s worth the trip every single time!!! Not to mention, the aesthetics are *chef’s kiss*. Overall, one of our favorite coffee shops and it will soon be yours too!

We ordered a cappuccino and an almond milk latte with honey cinnamon syrup and a cookie for the kiddos. Delicious! It's not too hot. They have their machines set at proper temperatures so as not to burn the coffee beans. Looking forward to stopping by again!

Loved our brief stop in Brenham, and especially the Mescalito Coffee shop! We had a bit of a hard time finding it because of a recent move. Signage outside looks like the photo.

Sausage and cheese kolaches excellent. Lemon poppy seed muffin is very good too. Americano is solid

Where do I even begin?!
I made my first trip to Brenham to coordinate a wedding and found myself at Mescalito each morning of my short time in town. I enjoyed my hot Chai Tea Latte while my cousin enjoyed an iced coffee drink (I’m not a coffee drinker so not sure of the details). We both devoured our sausage kolaches and split a delicious homemade dessert.
Their tagline is “Worth the Drive” and I’ll tell you, I’d definitely come all the way back up from the Rio Grande Valley to sit in this beautiful space in historic Downtown Brenham.
Aside from the culinary experience, the aesthetic is so warm and inviting. I missed Mescalito when I was back home in the RGV.

One of only two coffee houses that I can trust to provide me a professional espresso in the central Texas area. Staff is very friendly and always happy to explain the menu if you have questions. The beans are professionally roasted and have a distinct aroma and flavor that reminds me of downtown Brenham when I'm pulling shots at home. The site is extremely clean and always has a happy mood in and around the area.

This is a cute little coffee shop. I was greeted, enjoyed my tea and was greeted when I left. The bathroom is nice and clean. The photos show a large space with lots of tables but this is no longer the case as that area looks to be converted to retail space.

The coffee and service, are outstanding. A day trip lands me in Brenham on Sunday. What I am not expects is a top class coffee shop what I found. The baristas know their coffee tastes good, I am told. No, vegan. The ambience is super with a boutique attached ballad of the bird, that has actual. It’d fogs. A first choice anywhere

Their cream cheese bagel kolaches are a bit unusual in concept, but are simultaneously the best bagel and kolache I've ever had. The coffee is also very good, but not a must have like that. That's all I've tried from there, but I can only imagine the other food is amazing from that. This seems like it could be an excellent familiar favorite stop for visitors, especially before doing some downtown shopping.

The peach and cream cheese kolache is spectacular! The decor and atmosphere is wonderful and relaxing. Don’t miss the upstairs patio/deck outside. Perfect spot to enjoy your coffee and pastry while checking out the murals.

Such a cute place, another great edition to Brenham. Coffee and Kolache was killer. Probably best coffee I've ever had.
