Ross Carroll Bennett House Bed & Breakfast

What a fantastic stay for a girlfriend's trip!! The house is beautiful with incredible architectural details. The location is great with easy walking to shopping and restaurants. The hosts are fantastic and made us feel very much at home. Most important to me are the Beds and the Breakfasts and both get rave reviews!! Comfortable beds with crisp linens and the most fantastic breakfast spreads-Eggs Benedict, the best bacon I've ever had, fresh fruit, fresh scones...and that was just the first morning!! We really enjoyed the evening cocktail hour too with lovely wines and yet another spread of appetizers; almost a meal in itself!! We will definitely be back!!

Our family rented all four rooms in December 2020 which made for a wonderful time in the evenings because we played games in the parlor. The hostess provides a wonderful experience and will treat you royally. The food is plentiful at both breakfast and happy hour. The amenities exceeded my expectations, from bedside treats, robes, plush towels, and a solid supply of toiletries. The location is 2 blocks from downtown Brenham shopping and restaurants. The hostess is warm and friendly and the home is gorgeous. Owner has antiques that are not child-proofed. Best appreciated by adults who enjoy being wined and dined in a historical relaxing setting. Really, you shouldn't miss out on this.

Hostesses were so willing and able to meet our every need. Room very comfortable. Décor to perfection. Meals wonderful. Can’t say enough about everything there!! Cynthia and Peggy love entertaining their guests in this perfectly maintained historic home.

Came down with a couple of girlfriends to do some shopping. Cynthia was a blast and a great hostess. The house is like a museum full of history and beautiful furniture. The other guests were fun and great conversation. Loved the area and would love to live in Brenham. The town is so much fun and the restaurants are great with excellent wine lists..We will be back.

Wonderful old home with plenty of antique furnishings and history. The owners are very knowledgeable of the history of the house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the good conversation. The breakfast was fantastic!!! Will definitely recommend this house as a place to stay in Brenham Texas.

We loved our stay with Cynthia! The happy hour and breakfast were wonderful and the bed in the Magnolia room was great as well. If we come back to stay in Brenham, this will be at the top of our list!

Stayed over a weekend in August with some girl friends. We had an amazing time and the house is beyond beautiful. It felt like going back in time or staying in a museum. Is in the middle of downtown and walking distance from bars, shops, and restaurants. We went to some local festival, shops/restaurants, spa, wine tasting and of course to get some ice-cream at blue bell over our 2-day stay. Lots of things to do around. The host was amazing and the breakfast was delish. Definitely recommend it if you are ever around Brenham.

RCB House is an easy 10-minute walk from Brenham's historic and beautiful downtown.

The house is beautifully maintained with so much history and hundreds of fascinating pieces of Victorian furniture and trinkets. Every room is bright and comfortable. It's a B&B and museum all in one.

Our hosts were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. They went above and beyond to make us feel relaxed and at home.

The charcuterie and wine happy hour plus the incredible breakfast made this a complete package.

We will definitely be back.

The house is beautifully decorated and memorable. Cindy and Peggy were very gracious and attentive hosts and had plenty share about the history about the place. Dinner and breakfast were delicious and super photo worthy to boot. Will definitely stay here again at some point!

Warm and welcoming hosts to our adventure in Brenham this weekend. The RCB house is truly a home away from home. The home has wonderful historical details...a must see!! My daughter and I had a wonderful visit.

A comfortable house to move around in. Common areas were homey. Comfortable bed. Breakfasts are outstanding. Cynthia, the innkeeper, is friendly and informative.

This was a great weekend get away. The staff are super friendly, the house is very well done taking you back to life in the 1890 to 1900s. The food was great! I highly recommend this BnB.

Wonderful restored Victorian home full of antiques and character with a friendly and gracious hostess. Cynthia and her daughter Peggy made us feel at home at once. Comfortable bed, fluffy towels, wonderful accouterments in the room and bathroom. Happy hour was also a special treat and the breakfast was amazing. Walking distance to downtown and also a great italian restaurant, Volare, is across the street. No TV here..wonderful!! Read, relax and visit with nice people. We will return.....

The RCB Bed&Breakfast was just what I needed for a quick escape from Houston! Cynthia, the host, provided top notch hospitality from the moment I spoke to her on the phone regarding my booking. The home is located right on Main street in downtown Brenham and is within walking distance to all of the shops and restaurants. The grand Victorian home and beautiful landscaping was so welcoming. The evening was spent enjoying a wonderful glass of wine and tasty hors d'oeuvres while touring the home and admiring its endless supply of historic furniture and treasures. I had the pleasure of staying in the Rose room. Cynthia and her team have taken great care ensuring the home is clean and crisp. I was very comfortable and felt safe, which is always important but especially during these times of Covid. Every detail was taken into account. I loved my adjustable bed and the sheets were fantastic! Waking in the morning I was greeted with the mouth watering smell of breakfast cooking. I enjoyed a cup of coffee in the cozy Gazebo out in the Garden. Cynthia's Eggs Benedict and cheesy grits were exceptional and it was so fun having breakfast in the fully set formal dining room! After spending the day in town shopping, we arrived back to the house were greeted with an evening cocktail and more of Cynthia's yummy treats. It was truly an amazing experience and I cant wait to visit again.

My wife and I enjoyed this cute BnB for a much needed weekend get away. The location was perfect for all the local attractions. The phenomenal breakfast was just icing on the cake.
