Coach Light Inn Brenham

Wow! And Thankyou!! What a wonderful stay. It was so refreshing to stay in a US motel that was able to deliver a great service for real value. The rooms were fantastically clean and there were little thoughtful items like bottled water and toothbrushes. An abundance of clean towels and pillows. I’m sure the secret is diligence to the customer, I wish every motel owner and manager in the US could visit here and see how it’s done!

Although the hotel is dated, it is very clean and well kept. I have stayed there on a number of occasions since 2018, the staff (owners) live on site and greet me by name, even though they only see me once a year,they are very accommodating and extremely polite.

Pleasantly surprised by this wonderful motor hotel. Check-in was super fast and I have lots of praise for the wonderful gentleman that checked me in, he was extremely courteous and helpful. Since this is an older hotel I had relatively low expectations but to my surprise the rooms are super clean and comfortable, with a fridge/freezer, microwave, dining table and gi-normous tv. It's also so nice to be able to park in front of your room. I would gladly recommend this hotel.

Was skeptical when looking online not knowing the area of town or if it would be best to stay around the main highway. However we were pleased & surprised. Clean, convenient and quiet. Thanks!

Fast check-in, the gentleman that checked us in, was great . He answered all of our questions. The room was very clean and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.

Very cheap but way better than expected considering the price. Facilities were great and the room was absolutely spotless, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend !

As a mom traveling with a young child safety and cleanliness is a must and I’m happy to say coach light inn checked off both! Check in was quick and easy, the room was spacious and the beds were comfortable! We’ll definitely stay here again if we’re ever in the area

I have been staying at this hotel 1 night a week for 7 years. They have always been extremely nice and helpful & the rooms are always clean. As a woman traveling alone it is extremely important to feel and be safe and I always have. I just wanted to let Bob Patel & family know how much I appreciate them for everything!! They have all become very good friends.

Great location, easy to find after hours. Check in was smooth. All the toiletries you could need plus bottled water and snacks in a wonderfully clean room. Most comfortable beds and pillows we have slept on in a long time, including our home and the B&B we are staying at in the same town. Courteous gentleman at the counter helped us park upon arrival. Overall restful experience!!

We originally reserved three nights at a local chain hotel in town. In short, we checked out the next morning due to unclean and unsatisfactory accomodations. We luckily we found the Coach Light Inn. The manager allowed us to view the room prior to reserving two nights. We we're pleasantly surprised to find large rooms with some of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on in a hotel. The shower pressure was fantastic! Everything was clean, the fridge was spacious and clean and even had a freezer portion. The room we stayed in smelled clean and didn't have a moldy/musty smell from the air unit. The room we stayed in was very quiet, we didn't hear any outside noises. We will definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone needing a place to stay while in Brenham.

The Coach Light offers a spacious clean room at a reasonable price. The room I stayed in was not completely updated, but did offer an in-room two burner stove top, stainless steel sink and a spacious refrigerator. Also included was a king size and full size bed great for families or small groups sharing a room to cut cost. Ice is located outside adjacent to the office, but the parking lot is well lit and the location is easy to find and easy to go anywhere from. There are restaurants close by and downtown is just a few minutes away. I would definitely stay again if in the area. The only thing to be aware of is coming into the parking lot for the first time do so slowly. The transition from the street to the parking lot is not as smooth as one might expect.

Stayed here recently for few days; convenient location to downtown Brenham and local shopping and restaurants. Very good value priced with good features like toiletries and water, clean-spacious rooms and friendly customer service. Pleasantly surprised, would stay here again.

Large, clean rooms. Lots of space and nice bathrooms. Good selection of cable channels. This is without question one of the better motels I've ever stayed at.

Such an awesome place. Call it boutique If you desire. Owners are very pleasant and accommodating. Rooms are perfectly clean and appointed. We were here for a wedding. If I ever have a reason to stay in Brenham again, this is where I’ll sleep!

This one is different, when pulling up i was skeptical just because the reputation this type motels have. Once entering the build guy checking me in was friendly. Got my key headed up to my room wasn't sure what to expect. Opened the door and was kinda surprised, room was clean looking, bigger then most rooms nice size fridge and freezer. This motel seemed well kept nothing fancy about it. The ac was off upon entering in texas hear would be my only complaint, didn't take to long to cool it off. Beds was comfortable,had 2 peaceful nights of sleep.

We found this room to be clean, comfortable and safe. It had everything that we needed along with extra bottles of water and tooth brushes! The check in was extremely easy, and I appreciate the convenience of pulling straight up to the door to park.

Before moving to Brenham permanently, we regularly stayed here while scoping out properties. The staff members were always friendly and efficient. The rooms were large and the beds were comfortable. We were treated so well that we never considered going to one of the fancier hotels in town. Why mess with such a great deal and centrally located too (for our needs)?

Great place to stay! I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in town. The young man at the check in counter was very welcoming and accommodating. My room was exceptionally clean and the carpet was kept up nicely. Bed sheets/towels were nice and new. Bathroom had pretty tile, very clean. Good size frig/freezer and microwave. Waters, nuts and toothbrushes were nice little extras.

Just stayed here for a three night stay during Round Top Antique Week. The room was perfect for me and very well cleaned. They even made my bed each day as they check your rooms to make sure everything is tidy for you. I would 10/10 recommend for the price. A+ value at a fraction of the other hotels. Oh and the BED ARE SO CLEAN and comfortable! :)

The Coach Light Inn is a great value hotel. It is well cared for and has many good features.

This hotel has more comfortable beds than the Hilton, Hampton Inn and Home2Suites. I've stayed at all three of those hotels recently while driving halfway across the country. Those are lovely hotels with many nice features, and I think very highly of them. However, after sleeping in a bed at the Coach Light Inn was the first time I woke up without hip pain. The beds at the other hotels are just a little too firm for me (I'm a curvy woman with big hips) and every night just made me miss my own bed more. The bed I slept in at the Coach Light Inn made me miss my bed just a little less. After sleeping in it a few nights my hip pain was completely gone. I'd give the Coach Light Inn a 5 star rating on this fact alone, but there are other nice things about this hotel too.

I stayed in a room that had a kitchen with a two burner stove. Bring your own kitchenware (remember things like a dish sponge, dish soap, paper towels - but there is a walmart and HEB conveniently nearby if you forget anything). The large mini-fridge has separate freezer. The room also had a king size bed and a full size bed. I found the full size mattress to be softer than the king size (though the king size was comfortable). The mattress felt similar to my medium firm bed that I have at home, so that was the one I chose to sleep on.

The alarm clock has wireless qi charger on top. It's much nicer than the alarm clocks in other hotels I visited. It charged up my jabra earbuds and samsung phone quite nicely. The shower has a nice large shower head, lots of hot water. There's plenty of parking. It's safe and quiet.

The hotel is pet friendly and has a nice little grass area for dogs to relieve themselves in (bring your own poop bags). There's plenty of space in the room itself, I even brought a large dog create for my dog and it didn't take much space. The television has lots of channels to choose from.

The wifi is sufficient for remote work. I was able to make calls on MS Teams, and access work resources online with no issues. I was even able to play a video game online with friends with little latency.

Overall I would definitely recommend the Coach Light Inn to others and would happily stay there again should the need arise. For the price it can't be beat, and it's quite comfortable.
