Food is always delicious and service is great. Their homemade ranch is so good. Chicken fried chicken,Chicken fried steak,burgers,breakfast, chef salad, and chicken and dressing are all recommended. They also have real bacon is a plus for me I don't like the heat and serve kind.

One of the best lunches I have had. The chicken fried chicken wasn't pounded thin like most places do. It was a normal breast cooked to perfection. Gravy, mashed potatoes & green beans really good. Rolls so tender. Hubby liked his ham omelet but kinda wished he'd gotten chicken fried steak. It was busy and thought we'd be in for a wait but was delivered quickly.

Man oh man , I gotta say . This place is the place to be. First time visiting and everyone here knew each other, from staff to guest dinning in. Everyone having a good meal and talking with each other. What a great welcoming feeling. The coffee tasted great and the grilled chicken had a great flavor. Great spot to check out if you’re passing through town.

Man o man!! This was good food!! The chicken fried steak was soft and not chewy, the green beans were soft and delicious (not rubbery) and Lyndsey our server was awesome! We will definitely be going back.

Food was awesome service was awesome prices are okay One thing is they don't offer military discount but you know to each their own but everything else was good surprisingly things nowadays seem to get pricier but everything gets less this place seems to kind of stay

If you are going to complain about this place having a smoking section... DO NOT EAT HERE! I Love it, the food is amazing, home-cooked meals and homemade ranch.. it's a family oriented place and the waitresses who have been working there for years are just so loving and friendly! Being a very small town they get a few sketchy employees every now an then but they don't stick around long! It’s a 24 hour restaurant except on Sunday nights. The steaks are the best.. I get them extra seasoned! Amanda is my favorite waitresses but the older ladies also do a magnificent job! This place can get busy really quick! It's small so being patient is a must sometimes. When it is busy I would recommend letting your waitress know everything you need when she's at your table the first couple times because sometimes there might be a time where she physically can't get back to your table do to attending 7 other tables. Don't judge this little place when they are too busy, take the time to go during a not so busy day and I promise the experience will be 100 times better. If you've never worked in the restaurant industry long enough don't leave a nasty review based off of a one time experience. I go to this restaurant at least twice a week. My experience is different everytime. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner all day.

Down home cafe. Service was superb. Spanish omelet was wonderful and full of ingredients. Hashbrowns were cooked to order ( crispy ). Have 0 complaints. Will definitely be back.

Food as close to home cooking I've ever found. Service is great. Got to give it a try.

I used to go to Texas tradition in Gilmer my husband and I love their breakfast. now I'm going to the one in Gladewater just started recently it's just as good as the 1 that used to be in Gilmer. Great atmosphere friendly waitresses and great food home cooking.

Great food!! Huge portions, Servers/staff are courteous and attentive. Patrons clearly enjoy as there were several repeat visitors.

This restaurant has been open for a long time. Locals love it, and any visitors can expect the same good food, friendly East Texas small-town atmosphere and reasonable prices. Standout items include the burgers, pies, and some of the BEST onion rings! It does have a separate room for smoking.

Best cheeseburger on sourdough buns and the best onion rings! You have to give this a try! Yum!

First time for me to eat here. Everything was terrific. I had chicken fried steak. Had just enough breading and easy to chew. Bre and Brent were terrific. I hope to eat there again sometime soon!

Great food and friendly service. Everything seemed to have been made on premises from scratch - so refreshing when most stuff comes out of a frozen Sysco bag in this age. Mashed potatoes made from real potatoes! Online ordering and a drive thru window for pickup at Mom&Pop place is also a plus.

We ordered the burger plate. My burger was delicious and fresh. We tried the hand dipped onion rings and fresh cut fries. The waitress was amazing and very sweet. The drink prices were pricey. We will return to eat again.

What a great place for Sunday Lunch.
When we walked in we were greeted by multiple smiling faces of the wait staff. We took our seat and began looking through the menu. We made our choices…until we saw breakfast being served to the table next to us. It looked amazing. We decided to stick with our original decisions and we were glad we did.
The food was excellent.
I was also so impressed by all the cheerful staff. Multiple waitresses, bus staff, and cooks checked on us throughout the meal.

We stumbled upon this hole in the wall diner…but we will be back on purpose!

I haven't eaten here since I was very young. It was always my dad's go-to place! It has been updated a little and is now non-smoking inside. The food was delicious even my 4 year old ate almost all of his plate! Haha. The people were friendly and the atmosphere was very welcoming!
