Eddie V's Prime Seafood

We had the best time at Eddie V’s! They were so accommodating to my plant based needs. I had no idea they would be or we would have come here a long time ago. Our server, Coleman, was so friendly and helpful, gave me several options, off the menu dinner salad with dressing on the side, a tofu dish with a ginger sauce and spinach, side of steamed asparagus and steamed rice. There was even a strawberry basil sorbet for dessert. All the food was freshly prepared and seasoned nicely. My husband raved about this Caesar salad, Crab stuffed shrimp and potatoes au gratin. His Bananas foster dessert is still one of the best desserts in town. We plan to come back with a visiting friend next month and I will let everyone in my Chef Julia plant based following know about the outstanding choices here. Thank you.

Ensure to place a reservation for immediate seating! This place provides exceptional service and high quality food for a premium price. Our server was very attentive, gave recommendations, answered any questions that we had and we highly appreciated it. The music was great as well. Highly recommend this spot.

We dine in here for our Easter brunch. The food and atmosphere was fantastic. Music vibes were 💯. Our server was the best and the manager came by the table as well.

I tried the swordfish that was a special. When they say topped with crab you don't get the typical sparse flakes of crab, you get huge chunks on top. Very delicious!
Then there are the accompaniments, potatoes au gratain were good, but the crab fried rice is almost an entire reason to visit. Not even exaggerating here. That's absolutely phenomenal.
A perfect excuse to be stuffed till it hurts.

Finger licking delicious! By far one of the best freshly made jumbo lump crab cakes my global palate has sampled! My favourite cocktail was the "Golden Hour". I love anything with touch of coconut! Brian is such an awesome host! Thank you for making the evening extra special! A must visit when in Fort Worth!

What a wonderful experience! My husband surprised me with an anniversary dinner here 3/4/24. The food was exceptional and the service is over the top! I had red roses waiting for me (courtesy of the restaurant). When we finished dinner, we went into the lounge and enjoyed great jazz. Very romantic place ❤ We will be back!

Had the pleasure of eating here for my husbands birthday. The service was great, I forgot to ask the name of our waitress but she was awesome and very informative. It was our first time there, so we really liked her recommendations of trying the Golden Hour cocktail which is on the sweeter side of drinks. We had the crab cake for starters and that was Delicious! Overall our experience was great, the steaks were seasoned to perfection. Hubby had 22oz tbone, I had 18oz chili rub ribeye Oscar style, and daughter had the steak medallions Oscar style. We paired with crab fried rice and the lobster mashed potatoes. You will not be disappointed!

As restaurants that specialize in seafood go, Eddie V's should be at the very top of your list in the DFW area. Located adjacent to the up and coming West 7th area of Fort Worth, I have been here 6 or 7 times for dinner and happy hour and everything is impeccable. Incredible quality oysters for $3 each. Proper dirty martinis. Fried calamari is delicately fried and not chewy at all (beware the hot peppers!). Seafood towers fit for a king. Great wine by the glass options with every common varietal having multiple options. Professional wait staff that takes their jobs seriously without being overbearing. The highlight for me has always been the Chilean Sea Bass that is steamed Asian style with a miso soy broth. Absolutely to die for. Lemon tarte or berries with Grand Marnier Creme Angelique for a lighter dessert or go nuts and get the Banana Foster cake with pecan praline ice cream if decadence is the mission. All in all a favorite spot. Happy hour in the bar area is usually accompanied by a legit set of musicians, just get there early if that's your desired place to sit.

update: We have since had our wedding dinner here! The food was exceptional, fresh, and lively!
The service was even better, with funny and attentive staff who did EVERYTHING possible for us. I cannot say enough good things about Eddie V's!

If you don't have dinner, host a get-together or have your party there, oh boy are you missing out! I included some pictures of the event for your enjoyment. Thank you Jen and the other managers for doing everything within their superhero-like powers and abilities for us - we appreciate you.

My family and I dined here to celebrate my PhD defense. We were so surprised to receive complimentary champagne and a small starter! Christian took such great care of us, and the food was fantastic, and honestly quite reasonably priced considering the experience (in my opinion). I was also gifted a bundle of 4 roses! I would absolutely recommend this place for seafood lovers looks to celebrate a special occasion. Thank you for a fantastic celebratory dinner, I will remember it forever!

Really great experience. Food was very good and the service was top notch. It was my daughter's birthday and they really went the extra mile to make it special.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here. MAKE RESERVATIONS! I love that it allows you to specify the occasion so our tables had rose petals , we had an anniversary card, and received complimentary anniversary dessert. The food and service was EXCELLENT!

Enjoyed an amazing evening with a excellent atmosphere, delicious food and wonderful waiter named Wyatt. The Crab cake, Filet and Lobster was Awesome prepared perfectly and the waiter provided top-notch service.

We come here about every two months. It’s in a good location for night life off 7th street. The food and service is always amazing. This is the first time we’ve came for our birthday. We made a reservation for 815 online and was seated at 810. We ordered the Big Eddie for an appetizer included lobster, oysters, shrimp and king crab with three different sauces. The 8 oz filet and Chilean sea bass. Everything was amazing. The steak you could cut with a fork. The service was on point we never had to ask for anything. Our server Paige was always there before we needed anything.

We were there celebrating a birthday on this past Saturday and experienced exceptional service!

She exhibited an extensive knowledge of the menu, guiding us through the selections with genuine enthusiasm. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she was patient in addressing any questions I had.

Late birthday dinner with the fam, and chose here because we’d never been but had heard good things. Upon waiter’s recommendation I got the Sea Bass paired with crab fried rice and asparagus and it was fabulous. Really delicious. My husband got the steak special (two small filets with four grilled shrimp). Slightly overcooked the steak but overall good. Parents got steak special and ahi tuna. My dad loved the tuna but was too spicy for stepmom. We also got lobster mashed potatoes but it was my least favorite part of dinner. Probably wouldn’t get again. Nothing wrong just not special. Also ordered dessert and crème brûlée was winner over bananas foster. Overall great meal.

Had a wedding dinner here and all the guests were super impressed with the food and the service. It was about 21 guests and they were all taken care of adequately!

We’ve ate here prior to our wedding dinner of course and we are more than happy that we decided to pick them.

They clearly care about the quality of their food and always giving exemplary service.
Although there was an inconceivable that occurred, the managers handled it the best they could and went even beyond.

I cannot way to come back here! Always leave happy! ☺

Crab cake was phenomenal! The scallops were perfect. Love eating here. Park in the parking garage, it’s free off barden street.

My husband took us out for my birthday tonight and we had a wonderful dinner! Jamie was our waiter and he was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, attentive and kind. The food was top notch (hats off to the chefs!) and the service from him and others was impeccable. We will be back next year, thanks again!
