We loved that no one was here on a Sunday night .

Me and my son had the whole place to ourselves:

The two male members of staff that were there (I did not ask their names, ) but they were very kind and patient with me . I came from a horrible day at work, and my brain was not even functioning at that point .

I felt super embarrassed because I forgot my wallet and everything and had to pay with a card and deposit a check literally on their counter ——- I used a card that I wasn’t even sure if it had money on it or not, and paid cash for some
Of it and the rest on the card.

Wow it was a lot for me mentally to not just turn and walk out:

thankfully they were able to Take care of us and make everything not seems as dramatic as it truly was for me that day.

We had a great time and in future we would love to come back here and support this place.

We remember that we used to come here a lot, but then with Covid shut everything down.

Similarly , I understand that the Staff would probably like it to be busier to have more tips and things like that, but we really enjoyed that it wasn’t very crowded because I have severe ——almost crippling, anxiety and situations with a lot of people really are bad for me to be in so weirdly enough——-This was a great experience for me, but I understand it was stressful for the staff to not have very good tips.

If the kitchen open, we would’ve been able to get some food and tipped them properly on our food order, but it was shut down early due to the minimal night :

We got to play a few games of Lazer tag, 2 games of air hockey , 30 mins of bowling and do 1 seated race car game for about $39 dollars for an adult and a 10 year old:

We would have loved to do bumper cars but they were also closed .

These men were both Helpful and supportive and I want them to remember , we never know if this interaction is the one that puts someone over the edge:

I was in such a sensitive mood I probably apologized to them 7-10 times in 2 sentences:

They reassured me and smiled:

I don’t even apologize that much normally: I was even shaming myself for saying “sorrry “ so much:

This means a lot to someone who is in my shoes ——so please pass this along to those guys:

Mental Health Awareness is something every place of employment should be trained in and be in support of:

The way our nation is and the way life has gotten for us all we need to be very mindful:

This was a day where I most likely would have cracked open over anything, I was on the verge of tears the entire convo:

I even had to take a break from bowling with my son to cry in the bathroom and go back to being a super mom:

It’s so Very important to be aware of how we speak to folks.:-)

Please remember this.

Those guys coulda been mean or rude to me because of how many times I asked the same question: but they barely acted phased and shrugged it off.

I truly felt like that interaction had it been / gone any differently would have ended with a much different outcome for me and my son that night.

And keep on being positive and sensitive to folks mental needs.

Exceptional service, great atmosphere, and prompt service. Even great drink prices.

This location is one of my favorites. Some pluckers can be bad in my experience, but this location at Oak Hill, is superb! If they make a mistake they are very quick to fix the problem and ensure your stay is as pleasant as possible!

The wait times are very minimal except for weekends and holidays, so be prepared.

Food is delicious, wings cooked to perfection, and may I suggest trying their appetizers, the fried cheese and holy mac are wonderful!!!

If you’re a fan of chicken wings, there’s no better place to catch a game on their many large screen TVs and hang out with friends!

Really good beside the traffic but nice check the dollar tree they turn into a dollar tree plus. 3 n 5 dollar items come check it out

They have a Jim's breakfast, a golden chicken, pluckers and sushi for food. Then also a good will, gym, auto shop and so much more in one parking lot. Then across the way is HEB and McDonald's and another auto shop and again so much more.

Beautiful spot easily accessible for disabled persons. Well lit and clean

Havnt had them in so long the urgency of the Buffalo waiting to be engulfed into my glutinous behavior was to strong..

Good food, chicken wings, any kind of chicken.

Went to the Dollar tree and the people were great we bought tons of dishes and they were such a big help getting boxes to put it all in.

I love the OAK HILLS area, especially the neighborhood shops and services in the shopping centers that face each other on 71 just off 290. There are also several restaurants including great Asian food, excellent BBQ, hamburgers and plenty of fried chicken and fish with all the sides. If you're a breakfast person or like a lot of variety there's a Jim's there too. Suffice to say there's a great deal of variety if you're dining in that area. This area also has just about every neighborhood service you can think of besides the restaurants. I'll list a few stores or shops but no way I can remember them all. I love killing time shopping at Dollar Tree, a TRUE dollar store, and there's a Goodwill with a crazy selection of housewares, electronics, decorative items, sporting goods and of course clothing. On the west side of 71 there's an AutoZone and across the street there's a Firestone. Then there's an HEB, a couple of pizza places, McDonald's, Slab BBQ, Pluckers, Golden Chick, Jim's and a fantastic Asian restaurant that I'm blanking on, but I've eaten there three times and it is outstanding! I know of at least one animal groomer/pet hotel, an insurance company, financial services, etc... In fact the only thing I haven't seen is a cleaners/laundry but I'm sure there's one nearby. Give the shops here a try, I bet you'll find what your looking for!

I love Epic Fun it's a great place to take the kids! Also has food and a full bar and is located in the oak hill plaza!

We frequent Jim's and the parking lot is always clean in the shopping center.

Got haircut from Lali at Clip & Curl. She always does a great job. Enjoy this and eating at Cherry Creek Catfish Restaurant afterwards. Prices very reasonable at both places.

Don’t forget, another person’s trash, might be someone else’s treasure! If nothing else, just pay it forward!

Jim's was our spot to eat on our way to the campsite in the Hill county

This shopping center is a huge piece of nostalgia for myself. From many different chapters of my life. It's a great shopping center, that offers a multitude of services or businesses to choose from

Stopped at Jim's for breakfast. Easy access with big truck. Fast friendly service. Bought Migas: hot, fresh; a little too spicy.

James was a great help. James sounds like a pretty amazing guy, and he’s developed quite the relationship with George, going from broker to friend.
While we may not have the same type of connection with our customers, we can aspire to be like James.
Not only did he answer ‘every stupid question,’ he did so with humility.
Many of your customers come to your business with a complete lack of knowledge.
Sure, they may have done research on their own, but they expect your employees to be the expert.
When your support team has been on board for a while, and they hear the same simple questions day in and out, a glazed over eye roll is understandable.
But the true gems of the customer service world take those FAQs and explain them in a way which doesn’t make the customer feel like a child.
That humility and respect will go a long way in the eyes of your customer, especially if they already are insecure about working with your business.
