Nice Cajun place. Gold Band Creole is a great shrimp with pasta dish, love it. Friendly staff, and you can order takeout over the phone.

Curtis makes this place the best experience for Cajun food. It tends to each and every customer he makes sure his food servers are on task and providing good service. I always have the gator bites red beans and rice oysters gumbo everything is top-notch there.

I'm surprised I don't hear more people saying we're having lunch Evangeline. Really they're friendly on the phone and the staff in person are even more friendly. I personally recommend the crawfish etouffee, I feel that if more people order this then they will only make each and every batch that much better because when things are popular they have to be better. It's already so good that I'm excited to see what they do to better it.

I love this place, poor waitress, as soon as the water came, I managed to spill it all over the floor, Devon, no doubt at the end of her shift made so light of it even bringing me a new glass with a plastic lid being humorous. Foods great, service is first class, parking easy, you'll never wait to long and it's worth it anyway.

Evangeline Cafe has delicious food. I love the oyster po-boy. If you can't decide what you want to eat, look at their menu. While most of their food is Seafood they also have chicken fried steak, chicken fried chicken, chicken fried alligator, stuffed pork chops and chicken tenders. There Onion rings and Fries are pretty good too. If you just like veggies they have a portobello burger, an Avocado Burger and veggie jambalaya that are pretty good. If you want a good dessert there bread pudding is delicious! It's making me want to go there just texting this. Great food great place!

The food is amazing and the staff is always super friendly. Unfortunately we moved further north, but we eat here every time we find ourselves in south Austin

Evangelines was very good as usual .Enjoyed shrimp and fried oysters as well as a bowl of seafood Gumbo.

This place is a blast to visit. The decor is unique and the food is down home delicious.

KC's donuts is a good place for a breakfast munch and sugar load via glazed fried dough. Good croissant sandwiches.

I love this restaurant!!! Great price for a lot of food. Fair warning the line is always long but totally worth it.
