Duncan and Matthew absolutely made my day in light of an unfortunate failure in my former gaming laptop. Very kind, knowledgeable, understanding, and hospitable. Quick and polite although for an 80$ cable management fee, I would have liked for all the cables to have been managed and the case wiped down.

I can’t say enough good things about Duncan and vicom pc. Went In there on a Saturday and dropped off my pc that is older than sin. ( i still game a lot on it as I have upgraded most of its hardware) from a pc that wouldn’t load the desktop and had a flashing screen which would end in the dreaded blue screen of death, to a seemingly brand new pc! My teenage son accidently spilled water on his gaming computer causing it to stop working. We took it in to Vicom PC on a Saturday just at closing, had it diagnosed by Monday afternoon (they're closed Sunday), and back home Tuesday afternoon.

Duncan, the owner, and Mathew exceeded my expectations. Not only did they get the computer repaired quickly, they were able to offer me a more cost effective solution (refurbished graphics card) which is better than my son's previous GPU.

As any gamer knows, a day without their PC feels like a lifetime, so I'm glad Vicom PC made everything quick, easy and afordable.

Pc wouldn’t power on so I took it here, they addressed the issue but I had to take it back in as I messed up building it and they had it running within a day and also didn’t charge me for the second time. Recommended

I have used this business and dealt with Duncan several times over the past 5-6 years. He is the nicest and most patient person I have ever dealt with and didn't get frustrated with my inane questions. I made a great deal on a new computer and he transferred all my data from my old machine to the new one at no charge. Dealing with a local, small business is 1000% better than dealing with Best Buy or one of the big chain outlets.

I recently had the opportunity to use Viacom PC's services to upgrade my computer's hard drive and memory, and I must say I was thoroughly impressed with the experience. Not only were they able to upgrade my drive from 1TB to 4TB, but they also upgraded my memory - all in the same day!

I bought my gaming PC from them about a year ago (great build). I ended up spilling a little bit of water on it yesterday and rushed it over asap, they told me they would look at it and i would probably need to replace the motherboard. They called today and said they didn’t need to replace anything everything was working as normal but if it does crash bring it back. I appreciate a honorable company that is willing to keep the customers their main priority. They will always get my business.

Took my new build in because everything was working when we finished the bright it home and voila no signal to the monitor. In less than 24 hrs they had it diagnosed as a bad graphics card. They had several competitively priced replacements available and were able to fix it in no time at all. He also updated everything for me and when I picked it up they plugged it in and showed me that everything was fixed. I honestly hope the next time I see them it’s at the grocery store or around town but if I have any tech needs I will definitely be returning to them!!!! Highly recommend the staff at Vicom!

After having various problems with my laptop for months, and reading all the positive reviews, I took my laptop to Duncan at Vicom. He replaced my corrupt hard drive with an SSD and recovered my data. He is professional and personable. His work is outstanding. His prices are reasonable. I recommend Vicom and Duncan highly and without reservation!

Really great work by this shop! I took my PC in to have a new graphics card installed along with some other odds and ends. I dropped it off in the AM and had it back before the end of the day. The owner (I'm assuming he was the owner) was a super nice guy and was willing to answer all my questions and give me suggestions. The price was very reasonable too! Highly recommend and will continue to take the rig there.

I've taken my laptop here to get fixed twice & both times they've been extremely helpful & have great customer service! First time they were able to fix the power button that same day, second time I got my laptop back the next day but still! Pretty quick compared to most other PC repair shops!

I also noticed that one of the problems I was having with my screen randomly turning off was fixed as soon as I got it back! I didn't mention this to them since I wasn't too worried about it but it's super appreciated if they meant to fix it!!!

Will definitely be coming back if I have any other problems with any of my devices!

Oh, & I wish they could've had an option to tip when paying! I don't usually carry cash but I'd definitely tip if there was an option with card payments :))

I had an issue with my self built gaming PC and they were able to find the issue, replace the faulty part and return my PC with a few days. I would highly recommend them to any one needing help fixing their PC.

I have been a customer of Vicom for most of my 10+ years in Austin. They built up my current PC and have upgraded components like mother board, sound card and graphics card. My trip today was due to a password change that stopped my email. Duncan fixed it quickly and did not charge me. I highly recommend them.

Skip the corporate geek squad places that try to upswell you around every corner with BS fees snuck in. This guy is quick, trustworthy, and knowledgeable. Best thing of all was that my business was conducted in a very affordable way.
