Dr. Frieben and his staff our a perfect example of how an office should be run. I've never experienced such professionalism and perfection ,very personal and informative. Dr. Frieben saved me from excruciating pain.
I was sent to Northwest medical from Belleville ER for an impacted kidney stone. They did I procedure there that I wasn't even aware was going to need to put me under. They slapped a stent in my urethra so quick and had me outside the door I didn't know which way was up or down. Only to get home with no info and couldn't have surgeons office schedule an appointment because they don't take my insurance the hospital did. They told me this after my fourth attempt of a follow up and a month later.
Thank God I found Dr. Friebens office. They were local and copay was only five dollars. Dr. Frieben informed me I was supposed to have the stent removed a while ago. His staff was so sweet and a southern charm was apparent in the office. They were very clean and punctual. They even were understanding when we had to reschedule the procedure because I ate a cupcake after midnight.
Dr. Frieben preformed two procedures within a three week span that had me skipping out the office, healed, painless, pill less and no follow up necessary . Thank God for Dr. Frieben and his staff. I'm referring him to my aunt right now. I had to write a good review for them because I almost didn't go to him because of the negative reviews on here. It goes to show everyones experience can be different and it is what you make it . Dr Frieben will always be my urologist even though he made it I don't need one anymore. Thank you Dr. Frieben and staff

Some of these reviews are startling. I have had phenomenal experiences with Dr. Frieben and all of his staff. He is the pinnacle of what doctors should aspire to be when it comes to bed side manners and listening to the patient. He also thoroughly explains what is going on and what the treatment plan is. He has an uncanny way of making you feel comfortable even during naturally uncomfortable moments or procedures.
My wife also had to see him for a rare malformation in the urinary tract. He did her surgery and fixed it with ease. It was a huge improvement in her quality of life.
After today's appointment, I found out I will need surgery to fix the condition that was worsening. I am truly fortunate it's Dr. Frieben doing the surgery next week.

So I just got my vasectomy and I will confidently say that Dr Frieben did an awesome job. His self as well as the staff were very kind and nurturing. He was quick and talked me through most of the procedure. Thank you Dr Frieben for doing such a good job with such a delicate un comfortable area.

Dr. Frieben saw my husband, as a new patient, for kidney stones right away. The Doctor listened very closely to his concerns regarding his condition and addressed them clearly. My husband ended up having to have the lithotropic procedure which went as described. The hospital nurses and attending physicians were all wonderful. We recommend him highly!

I found Dr. Frieben to be a compassionate doctor handling very sensitive problems. I had Botox injections into my bladder and feel like a new woman already. I think he is wonderful and his office help was too. Highly recommend.

Dr. Freiben and his staff are wonderful! We had been going to the VA for treatment. My husband was told almost a year and a half ago, his prostate was fine. He was checked after that withe the same result. Was given pills and sent on his way. Still having the same problem, we requested to be referred to a civilian doctor. Thanks to President Trump we are able to make that request now. We were referred to Doctor Freiben. We saw him in 1 week. They drew blood and did an ultrasound. Then the Doctor came in to examine my husband. Prostate exam was done. He sat down, scooted a bit closer to us and told us my husband had Prostate cancer. Apparently he's had it for a while, it was stage 3. If not for Doctor Freiben, we could possibly been planning my husband's funeral real soon. I thank you Dr. Freiben and your wonderful staff for your care and professionalism towards my husband and I.

Dr. Frieben is extremely kind and thorough! Always on time and never in a rush. He is an honorable man and I am incredibly thankful for all he did for me!

Although it may take a while to get an appointment with Dr. Frieben, that is a sign of just how sought out he is. He by far is worth the wait to get an appointment with. Very professional and to the point. Not to mention he is a great surgeon with excellent bedside manners.

I don't know which doctor those people saw that were so negative regarding Dr. Frieben but my appointment with him was on time and it went great. He was very nice and professional. The office staff were very helpful and courteous. I am glad I was referred to him.

I took my dad for an appointment...Very busy...The Dr explained everything to us...He listened to my dad's concerns...I feel very confident on this road ahead...I would definitely recommend Dr. Frieben...
