Washington County Courthouse

Didn't go inside...lol... Im only rating this on the outside town square and the architecture of the old town Brenham area. Its awesome. Very nice area to go on a walk and support the small local businesses.

I frequent this courthouse often looking at deed books. I enjoy the exterior and interior of the building as it is alive with history in the architecture. The staff has been very helpful to me in my searches when I could not find something on my own, taking the time to go down to the record room to assist in finding a particular record. The record room is well laid out and I enjoy that so much information has now been digitized and accessible from the computers available for use. I appreciate the efforts that have gone into making this a nice place to visit and conduct research.

Knowledgeable, helpful staff who assist in navigating complex situation without bias. Hard job to do.

Not only is the New York style cheesecake, but they also New York style courthouses, who knew there was such a thing?

Wonderful Staff and an overall practical structure but it looks like an East German Police Station.

Old building.

The county officials/employees have no respect for people's privacy. People who work in this court house (court coordinator) share private information to other county residents AND if you happen to work for the county they will share the information with your boss on court appearances and case information. One day all the flaws will show. This county is growing more each day and more people are watching.

Staff was unhelpful. Drove over an hour to be told that they could not and would not help us. The information on the website is NOT current and up to date. Very disappointed.
