L.A. Chicken Shack

Had the two-piece dark combo and it was excellent. And the okra was very good also. Hard to find good fried chicken and this is definitely better than KFC or churches, in my opinion. I am going to try the fish next time. They said it was also good so we’ll see The next time I stop in. And prices are quite reasonable.

Went to lunch after visiting Blue Bell factory and we enjoyed this place more than Blue Bell. The people are so nice and eager to please. The place is super clean. And the food was delicious. Well definitely be coming back.

First the staff, outstanding. The dine inn area super clean the bathrooms immaculate. The food is top knotch fresh chicken. My order was a bit complicated because of the ammount of plates ordred but all were served on time on target and hot. You feel the care they put into each meal and you wont break the bank I highly recommend.

Takes a minute to get your food but it’s hot and seems very fresh. I’ve only gotten the chicken strips, fish, hush puppies, okra and fries. Can’t say anything about the complaints regarding the other sides but what I’ve gotten has been good and worth the wait. Also not too expensive

One of the best places to get fried chicken and fried fish. The food was fresh and hot. You could tell that it wasn't sitting under a heat lamp. The Tea was wonderful and the Boudin rolls were fantastic!!! Very clean building with plenty of room to dine in and a lot of parking space. The staff were very nice and respectful as well. I'll be going back real soon. Next time ill try the hot wings!!! This go round i had the tenders and my wife had the fried fish.

Great food at a great price! Fish pieces were large and perfectly seasoned. Fried chicken was like old fashioned fried chicken with great seasoning and just the right amount of breading. Place was clean and owners very attentive. Will be going back soon!

Fries were a little salty, other than that, great!

Please support this small business!! I never order non-spicy chicken because most spicy chicken at big chicken restaurants are already under seasoned in my experience but this is the first time I had tasty non-spicy chicken!! Staff is pretty helpful and friendly too. Wish I could come back for more but I am from Houston which is hours away.

Old fashioned style fried chicken, hot and fresh, seasoned right. Fries are a little salty, but other than that, it's a great place and excellent service.

Snack pack was just right for me. Wings were perfect and I like the seasoning on the fried. Very short wait and the service was exceptionaly friendly.
