Toubin Park

Cute little spot to stop and see the cisterns. Very informational. Great little spot to read all about the history of Brenham. It is a small area. It’s a quick ten minute stop. Great teaching moments for kids. The kids enjoyed seeing and learning something new. If you’re in the area stop by and check it out.

Nice little area located between two buildings that showcases a cistern. Numerous plaques with cistern history and history of the town in general.

All the years I have gone to Brenham I never knew about the cistern. Nice little place to walk around and read about the history. The cistern is enclosed with glass and the flowers are beautiful.

Peaceful and pretty. We enjoy walking around the area in the evening. It's relaxing and the people we met are friendly. Great places to eat close by too

This is a small park between two buildings downtown. It has several plaques educating the visitor about the water collection systems that the early European settlers and later residents employed, which seem fairly ingenious. There's an existing in-ground water storage tank (cistern) that's pretty cool to see. Only takes about 10 minutes or so.

Neat park! Stopped here while traveling from Houston to Austin to snap a couple of pics! The whole dowtown area is very cool!

Really cool little place to sit down and relax while you do some light shopping. I really love the variety of flowers that I saw and how the running water sounds as it runs down beside you. It’s a rather small place but it’s so nice and pretty. There are many cool murals next to it that you can also appreciate.

Small Town in a big state. Cool place all around.

A place of unique character, small town beauty and choice flora, nestled between two brick buildings in the heart of Downtown Brenham sits Toubin Park. A small dwelling home to an underground aquifer, beautiful plants and carvings from local youth of their mark on the walls of the world. It’s not much but to some natives it’s a wonderful, calm place to lay on the glass of the well and read a book on a bright and windy spring day.

I love that so much has been made of relatively little. This is just a little slice of a park - really just the space between two buildings - but it's delightful. Green and lush and quiet and there's the constant sound of splashing water from the two fountains (well, they're more like pumps than fountains, but they're more decorative now than useful). Interesting to read so much about the town's history. I only wish idiots didn't have to write their names on every damn thing; it spoils the look of things to have everything scratched up.

Small cozy hidden little pocket park

Cool pocket park with massive amounts of history to read while you enjoy some fresh air, flowers, a calming water feature. Check put the engineering display of cisterns, grab a drink at the Store next door, relax and enjoy some peace.

Loved it! Very interesting history. A must see if you are in the area.

The only reason I found this park is because I used Google map's to find a a park. It's small but very interesting park. If your in the area then go ahead and stop by really quick.

Brenham is a lovely town and the historic section is well worth the visit. You should not pass by Brenham TX without dining at Folate restaurant!

Lovely peaceful place

A small area with pretty roses,and a town cistern with a glass cover. Town history is written down to read about the town's past.

A cute downtown area with a variety of shops and restaurants. It was easy to social distance while enjoying the scenery.

Nice shady park for walking. We took a stroll one day after visiting the monthly Farmer's Market.
