Clarion Pointe Beckley

Location is good. Employees are GREAT! My alternator went out and an employee named William gave me and my family a ride from getting our new one to keep us out of the cold snow. Such a kind man!

The staff here was extremely friendly and went beyond to help. The hotel is nice nothing fancy but well maintained. The location was decent being close to what we needed. I would stay again

We had a very long drive from Raleigh to Ohio..then back. with a short Turn Around Time.
This hotel was the perfect stop for us to rest recharge and continue on with our trip both ways.
We stayed going and coming.
The staff were friendly....the breakfast was fabulous.
And we slept so comfortably both nights.. this will definitely be our regular place in the future.

If you’re looking for a quiet, clean stay with a comfortable bed without spending too much, this is a great value. The rooms are much nicer than the dated exterior of the hotel. I paid under $100 for my stay, and at that price, I thought it was great. Only complaint is that the shower was warm, not hot.

They were advertised at $55 and I ended up paying $74. with the clean rooms and friendly staff, they are the best deal in town. Not only did they allow me to park my motorcycle under the pavilion by the reception desk, they had traffic cones for me to sit out. Biker friendly.

Was a pretty nice place. Didn’t seem dated at all, seemed like it had lots of renovations done. Staff was friendly and helpful. It did get a little noisy in the middle of the night but it was a Saturday so… good cheap place to stay on our drive down to Myrtle Beach. Will come here again.

I want to specifically thank Ethan, at the front desk. A family member I was staying at the hotel with had a bad experience with another guest. He made her feel very uncomfortable and she reported it to Ethan over the phone. Within 4 minutes of that phone call, the creepy man was putting his suitcase back into his car and leaving the hotel. Ethan made her feel validated and SAFE. We are very grateful for him!

Had a great experience. We ended up in the handicap accessible room, which was fine, but it took a bit to figure out the shower without having to sit down, lol! The bed was super huge and comfortable, and the room was very clean. Fridge worked well, and the TV etc all worked just fine. Though we didnt use it, we did see a laindry room for guests and there is a pool that i think may be closed for the winter. The breakfast wasnt much, but they did have the fun make your own waffles. Would stay again.

Very nice place. Room was big and clean, nice bathroom, good amenities. Great people at the front desk. Wonderful restaurant almost next door. Good continental breakfast.

Fan of choice hotels in general and they are my go to. Was this hotel older? Yes, but beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Would stay here again.

My family and I had a very pleasant experience staying at the Clarion Pointe Hotel at Beckley WVA this past Saturday Mar 11th, 2023. We had no problem checking in after 6pm and had an interconnecting room as requested (as we had two dogs and three adults). The rooms were large and clean. The hotel is quiet as it is off the main highway. The rooms had TV, fridge, a desk and a chair along with other typical hotel amenities. The breakfast bar opened at 6am and was fairly complete with the staff constantly restocking food and coffee. The service was very friendly and attentive from the time we checked in to the time we checked out. The space around the hotel parking lot serves as a very good outdoor dog walk area with a covered smoking area, also. There is an excellent Italian restaurant just a stone's throw away, too. We all (dogs included) had a very restful sleep.
A Special Note: As I was checking in, I noticed my daugther was playing with a small maltese dog. It turned out the dog belongs to an elderly man and they both were stranded in the cold (low 30s outside). The hotel management put them up for a few days. They gave them clothes and food. Thinking of this little dog and his owner having a warm place to stay while they sort out their travel arrangements warmed my heart and put a smile on my face. I am a big fan of this place and will stay there again for sure!

Great place to stay. It's quiet, located near multiple restaurants, and the price is very reasonable. The rooms are clean and well stocked. 👌 The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Great location, took us in at 12 am & all I needed was my ID. Brought me a roll away bed in the middle of everything. Very clean & pretty spacious. Bathroom could have been updated. But besides that - the breakfest was good, bed was clean & staff was friendly. What more could you ask for?

This Comfort Inn was one of the best we've stayed at. Very clean and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. The beds and pillows were unbelievably comfy. The breakfast was delicious. Simple but with everything you could want for any type of appetite. The hostess even cleared our table for us. We would definitely stay here again .

Stayed here numerous times,but in Aug 2023 husband had surgery over booked a night by overlapping they accommodated me to the fullest saved my 2 last days for future dates without hesitation,put us in a room close to exit allowed us to stay longer because of appt time.Liz and Michael went out of their way for us to be safe and comfortable.clean,safe,comfortable location,will use this hotel everytime....

I had a car emergency, so ended up staying here overnight. Very affordable price. Overall clean and felt rather newish. Both front desks were very friendly. Location is convenient as its off I-77 and about 1/2 mile from 2 gas stations & a dozen chain restaurants. Appreciated with covid and all that the hot breakfast items were pre-packaged. I would absolutely stay here again.

I love this hotel. Not only were the prices fair, the room was clean and comfy. I met some of the nicest people, so I wanted to remember their names. Michael at the front desk was so helpful and wanted to make sure I had everything I needed. Liz at the front desk had a big smile and staff appeared happy. Patricia in the "Starting Pointe" was truly on the ball. She kept the food and coffee stocked...never ran out.. Hailey at the front desk came to my rescue when I locked my keys up in the room. Last but certainly not least is FORD the maintenance man. He always had a smile and a big hello. We had a speci bond from day one. 😉 I would definitely stay here again. Great job ya'll.

We stayed there on August 21,2021. The young man at the desk was amazing! Very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean. It would have been nice to have a sign up stating that breakfast was over at 9:00. We will stay here again on our way to Myrtle Beach.

Not very fancy, but clean and safe. Reasonable price, good location. I have stayed here many times and so has my extended family. The desk help Michael was polite, helpful and friendly. We were having trouble figuring out the controls for the heater and he was very quick to help us. Highly recommend.
