Los Cabos Family Restaurant

Tucked away in this small community we have an awesome authentic Mexican restaurant. I highly recommend the fajitas. They also have chips and salsa! If you love Mexican food you should give them a try!

Ambience - good
People understand your requests perfectly .
Being vegetarian, I am reviewing only for veg eaters .
Crowd was pretty decent , they have outdoor seating during summers .
Indoor seating as the Mexican vibes .
Enchiladas were perfect ,
There was a combo which we ordered , which was best and sufficient for two ,
Ofcourse had to explain bit hard to person who took order due to vegetarian requests.
A great yes if you are looking for good food / healthy meal :)

Great food, service and prices. Highly recommend eating here if you are in Cedar Falls. We had the Burro Acapulco & Chimichanga Jarocha and they were delicious and save room for dessert the fried ice cream is definitely worth it.

We tried Los Cabos family restaurant for the first time today. I haven't found a restaurant on Main Street in Cedar Falls that I don't like. My husband had the steak fajitas He said they were okay and I had the fish tacos that I thought were very good. I would definitely recommend Los Cabos family restaurant if you're in the area and looking for some Mexican.

It’s always a great time at Los Cabos. The owner is very friendly and knows the regular customers. The food comes out very quickly and the servers are friendly. It is one of my favorite mexican restaurants.

We are from Ankeny, but always try to visit Los Cabos on the Parkade when we're in Cedar Falls. On our latest visit, it was during a downtown art festival, and the place was pretty crowded. Seated quickly, and server kept our drinks full. You get 2 salsas here, one regular, and one a bit more spicy. I always get the seafood Chimichanga Jarocha. (pictured)

Always have a good meal at Los Cabos. Waiters are quick to explain the menu if you have questions. There is a wide variety of options from traditional Mexican dishes including tacos and fajitas, to my favorite, their seafood entrees. So, without further ado here is a photo of my personal favorite the Chimichanga Jarocho. It is loaded with crab meat, whitefish, shrimp, peppers, mushrooms, and the most delicious seafood sauce you can imagine.

Wish they had a bonus star. This is no doubt my favorite restaurant in town. The margaritas are the best I have ever had and worth every penny. Food is very good and decent price. Staff is awesome and very friendly. I go here often and recommend it to anyone looking for this type of food.

My wife and I were trolling downtown cedar falls looking for something to eat. We decided we would try out Los Cabos. We had never been there before, and were feeling like having some margaritas. Our first experience was wonderful. The staff was very attentive. They seated us immediately. They did not rush us with our orders. The food was amazing, very authentic. But the icing on the cake was I needed to make a bottle for my son. On my way to the bathroom to get hot water one of the employees stopped me and filled up his bottle with their drinking water. I was very satisfied with our visit

Los Cabos is one of the best restaurants in Cedar Falls. There is plenty to eat as well as plenty of leftovers to take home. They offer a good value and the flavors are wonderful.

Lod Cabos Mexican food restaurant was phenomenal. The food was fresh & delicious. Our server was friendly & efficient as you could get her attention easily but she didn't hover or work the tip. I definitely recommend this to anyone.

Great food and service. We sat on outdoor patio and it was perfect. Parking and getting around is challenging but can be done. We will definitely be back.

In all the years I've been dining there, the food is always excellent. The decor and ambiance are very artistically put together with murals and authentic Mexican paintings. Even the painted booths, tables and chairs are works of art. Best of all (for me, anyway), the kind, professional and consistently competent servers humor me by letting me practice my Spanish with them.
