Absolutely love this place. We try to go at least once a week. Crystal and the staff are always welcoming. Stacey is awesome and even met Darren the cook. 10/10!

The dam goat pepper jam buger was the bees knees man love this place will try the patty melt next time heard its to smack someone for.

Our new local favorite. We have always talked about visiting it but didn't know if it was one of those places where you'd feel awkward not being a regular. We were dead wrong. Service is fantastic. The food is fantastic. The people we've interacted with are friendly and you can tell why people come back regularly. A nice outdoor seating area. Activities most nights. It does allow smoking indoors, depending on who you ask that's good or bad. Great drink selections of draft, cans/bottles and the bartenders are all extremely capable to mix up any drink or shot you'd like!

Found this place looking for something to eat once we made it to Alabama. I'm so happy we found this place, great food, great service and the DJ for karaoke was the bomb. com. Best weekend yet

One of the last true great American dive bars. I love this place. Meet one of their bartenders just once and they'll know you by name the next time you walk in. Sure it's dark and smoky and gritty; if that's not your thing you're welcome to go to the pretentious joints in downtown Bham and have $15 weak drinks with Gen Zs with ironic mustaches and mom jeans. Rio's is a fun place with a diverse crowd and great for people watching or having random conversations with strangers. The staff is real and always friendly. The food is your typical bar food menu, but I've never had bad food here. The wings are some of the best I've ever had. The beer is cheap (seriously where else are you gonna fill your stomach and catch a buzz for $20?). And the karaoke is...well...let's just call it entertaining. Idk where the handful of bad reviews came from but I can only assume it's salty competition or just downright miserable people. This place is great!

We had a great time. The service was awesome. We enjoyed listening to karaoke. I would say our waitress needs to pursue a career in singing, her voice is special. 🍻

Crystal I know you know me and let me tell you, DD is one of the best bartenders you got. She is handling a full house by herself and I ain't ever seen a bartender this good since Fraser boy. Great bar either way, great service, great atmosphere and I'm here on Thursday and the music is top notch check em out and ask for DD.

Friendly, enthusiastic Staff, wide menu range, and food prepared with excellent taste and care! Have been here many times and consistently been greeted with the same excellent care! Great Eatery!

This place is amazing!! The food is awesome and fast and friendly service with a smile!!! Very inviting atmosphere accompanied with high quality beverages at great prices!! They also have karaoke Wednesday-Saturday nights ran by a very talented lady with a great personality who makes it so much fun!!! Definitely recommend everyone goes there when they wanna have a good time!! I'm a frequent visitor!!!

I said at the bar to eat and watched the Auburn football game. It was an absolutely excellent atmosphere, even though I was flanked by Alabama fans on all sides( 😂). We all fellowshiped, had a few drinks and a few laughs. Great atmosphere, great environment, fun people, they always make you feel welcome.

The BEST bar in Shelby County!!! Always have a great time here. Great people and excellent staff. If you don't have a drink in your hand, it's probably your fault. Service is like no other place I know. Food is also excellent! Try the wings, pizza, or the huge burgers!! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Simply said: a great place to have a good meal and a good time!

We REALLY enjoyed their Tues Bingo night... Food was excellent & manager (Crystal) is AMAZING!! If you are ever nearby, check out their WINGS, & PIZZA!!

My friend and I really came in to just watch karaoke last Friday. She ended up getting a pink dragon(I think) to drink. It was pretty good. We also did get food as well.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. I think we were the only ones eating. Haha. But it’s okay. We had fun!

This Mexican restaurant is definitely my favorite in the area! It is clean, the employees are very friendly, food is amazing and they have a full bar because personally I do not like pre-mixed margaritas. I absolutely suggest stopping by and trying Rio's out!

The small bar and grill has won best bar in Shelby County multiple times because of its atmosphere and staff. Some great items on the menu including fresh burgers, best wings and the monstrous trucker tots.

It is technically the only restaurant that you can smoke inside and is popular with the bikers, blue collar workers and women bachelorettes parties.

They do not allow anyone 18 and under at night so it is not a place to take a family but a great hangout with a wide range of personalities and professions.

It has a Golden tee golf game, a pool table and a dart table. There is a charity bingo every Tuesday night at 6:30pm and always karaoke during the times they don't have live music at night. The owners Crystal can usually be found on premise during the busy times.

Awesome place. Wish I could go more. Food is out of this world.. A great local place where everyone knows everyone. Like a Cheers bar. Good bands on wknds and the bartenders are Great as well. Ask for Calen or Krystal. Good people! You'll probably see them before me. And I live right around the corner.. Being a trucker limits my good times😉
