Caldwell Park

This park is right next to the police station so I feel comfortable walking here on the trail day or night. I have always loved this park. The playground is small but it's shaded and a great place to bring the kids out of the heat in the summer.

Absolutely beautiful little place. There is a wonderful thick canopy of trees that shade the walking path, slides, swings and other equipment for children to play on. Clean restrooms conveniently located. A pavilion and many picnic tables excellent place for a bag lunch.

Great park for walking the paved trails and to take small kids for a picnic tho the bathrooms are locked.

I took my lunch I had just purchased at a nearby Taco Bell to Caldwell Park to eat while soaking up the serene energy I feel there. The park offers a little piece of quietude because it blocks the sounds of traffic, ongoing construction, etc. I was aware only of the chatter of the squirrels and the tweeter of birds. It was very relaxing, clear of litter, and natural, meaning not a lot of concrete and metal stuff. It's tall trees, a walking path, an occasional runner, and sometimes children playing on the small playground. I try to go there when kids are in school.

Our first time taking a stroll through Art Sunday ;) we truly enjoyed ourselves an are already looking forward to next year! From finding jewelry, candles, wood art, home made Christmas ornaments wooden one of a kind# all sorts of foods it definitely was a little bit of paradise hidden a mist the trees ;)

Such a lovely park. So well cared for. We've come to Scottsboro 3 times now because we participate in Art Sunday in the park. It seems like the whole town shows up. It's wonderful family event and great venue. Scottsboro has something to be really proud of.

Nice, safe place to come and relax. Always clean. Very peaceful. Nice walking paths. Cool and shady.
