Shelby County Landfill

As a Contractor for almost 30 yrs, I have been to more landfills than one can count. The Shelby County Landfill is the cats meow! Easy access, friendly employees, and the best thing above all... $14.00 PER TRUCK LOAD!!!! WHAT!?!?!? I throw stuff away just so I can visit =)

The lady at the weighing station was very polite. My first time there, she gave directions where exactly to go and answers my question.

Lady at entrance was extremely polite and helpful. When I got to the location to unload, it was so muddy that I couldn't get the utility trailer backed in properly. One of the workers (Bo) after seeing our problem came to my rescue and backed it in like a pro. He even did it again on my second load.

I have been using landfills across the nation for the past 40+ years and have never seen a better run landfill from the customers point of view. Office personal are great. Going there is always the easiest part of my day! Thanks

Fast & easy even when there's a long line.

Quick in and out. Friendly gate staff. I do recommend bringing something to walk on (old carpet, planks, etc) Can be very muddy!!

Best run landfill ever and great folks! Whatever u dump is covered with dirt before u get off the property.

it's a dirt road landfill very clean in fact you will never get stuck and they have throw in right at front so you never have to deal muddy roads

The people in the office are always kind. They direct you to where you need to be. Its $10 for truck and/or trailer.
