Trattoria Pizza & Italian OWA

Best pizza hands down!!! Gorgeous atmosphere too. Friendly staff. Clean restrooms. Will not disappoint! Everybody with our party got to create their own pizzas. Lots of options. The garlic balls are a must try! Fresh cheese on the pizza, beautiful perfect crust, and amazing marinara. Our waitress was Madison and she was wonderful and took great care of us. Trust me, you want to eat at Trattoria!

Omg! First time there, all was beautiful and well cooked. Loved it all, we definitely will be back! No picture, but the pasta salad was excellent, made with tortellini, artichokes and a light dressing.

21Feb2021. After tasting a slice the previous day, we decided to order 2 pizzas. I ordered the medium specialty meat pizza and a large pepperoni. They were both quite delicious and quickly prepared. The service was excellent and the pizzas were reasonably priced.

Jenna was our waitress and she was simply amazing. She was bartending and serving multiple tables while slammed. She worked her butt off. The food was fantastic, we will be returning again and again!

WOW ... This was hands down the very best pizza we’ve all ever had! The crust was perfect, they must use the freshest and best grades of cheese, seriously someone knows all the tricks to making the perfect pizza! If you’re thinking about where to go for dinner, I’ve done the research for you!

The Gulf Shores region seems to be lacking a wide variety of great pizza options, but Trattoria certainly didn’t disappoint.

We started with the Fonduta, which was a blend of cheeses that seemed to be toasted on the top with a stringy layer of gooey deliciousness underneath. The cheese was served with toasted bread wedges; enough to serve our group of 5.

For my entree, I had the build your own calzone with pepperoni, garlic, and ricotta. I’ll just say that the creamy ricotta was the star of the show and the portions were so large that 1/2 is sitting in the fridge for consumption later today.

In general, the service was good and the food was great, making for a 5-star rating in my book.

They are so friendly and the food is great, worth every penny!!!

Ordered garlic balls, a large classic pepperoni pizza, and The Bull pizza with pineapple. It was hands down one of the best pizza we’ve ever had. It was $48 but it was pretty worth it. It was a long walk but the food hit the spot when we got home! Service was super nice and our order was perfect! We will be back when visiting family!

Awesome food and great service I have eaten here several times and never been disappointed. Evidently they make their own breads and pizza dough daily and all the sauces are made on site from scratch. My server was awesome, ask for Brandon E. He explains all the different Italian dishes and provides great service. The only negative to this place is their iced tea. They don't make it fresh daily and it comes out of a soda dispenser. Go figure 🤔. But they still deserve 5 stars and I would rather have a cold beer with pizza anyway.

Good fresh food and awesome service! Four of us visited. We split a pizza and tried Ravioli with shrimp. Everything was fresh ingredients and delicious. Inventive cocktails and good wine choices. Our server, Jenna was so friendly and attentive, thought she might be the owner. But no, a manager, lucky owners to have an employee this good!

We had a wonderful meal! A group of snowbird friends enjoyed a good meal in a comfortable and warm atmosphere. Our server, Tina, was friendly and helpful and we really appreciated that. My husband ordered Greg's Baked Ziti, I ordered Shrimp Pasta and they were so flavorful and delicious. Our group enjoyed meeting the manager, Chris, who came to our table and visited with us. Great experience and we will be back.

Not what I expected at all, in a wonderful way! We stopped at OWA for the amusement park and looked for pizza per my son's request. How fortunate to stumble into this gem, voted best pizza in South Alabama (and I would concur)! We shared the Truffle Shroom pizza, recommended by our waitress, and it was one of the best I've ever had--perfect homemade crust, absolutely delicious flavor and texture. The wait staff was enthusiastic and helpful as well. The experience was well beyond what I was anticipating for a pizza place located at the back of an amusement park complex!

My family and I celebrated my son’s birthday at Trattoria. I couldn’t have been more pleased with the whole experience. The pizza was amazing! The service was great! The atmosphere was exactly what I was hoping for. We'll be going back soon!!

Food was amazing!! Best pizza I've had in forever. Clean and servers were excellent. Owner sang happy birthday to my twins and gave them a special treat. Will be back!! 10 stars from me

Oh my goodness! Took my family to see how OWA was like . Stumble upon this great restaurant. I ordered one of their specialty large pizza. That thing just blew my mind how delicious it was, and a salad to was so fresh and good. Looking forward to coming back.

Very cozy atmosphere with nice bar. The food is excellent and moderately priced. Although parking is more than adequate, you need to walk farther. Not an issue for me but may be for those with disabilities. The menu offers a good variety with excellent wine choices. Outside seating available and live music at times. If Greg the owner is there, say hello and locals will recognize him from NBC 15 News. It's a nice meeting place for locals and visitors alike.

We visited Trattoria a couple of years ago and was not impressed! We went today and it's so much better. Rain is the best waitress by far! Red is awesome! Their Shrimp Carbonara is fabulous! We will be going back especially if Rain is working!

25 Jan 2020 - Had dinner with another couple and the service and food was outstanding! Thank you to "Boston" our bartender, server, manager, and "Andrew," the General Manager that *personally* cooked our food!!! Everything was absolutely amazing and we all needed "to go" boxes! Thank you all for a GREAT night and experience! You know ;-) we will be back!!!
