Terrain Cafe

A great place to eat and then shop. Loved the shrimp and grits! So many beautiful themed displays and plants. It's a big fancy greenhouse with a Cafe. Prices are steep for decor and products but many things are handmade or small batch and you won't find these anywhere else. I just wish the bathrooms were cleaner.

I always go to Terrain for the vibes and the ambience. But the food is also really good here. I've never had anything I didn't like. I also love that they have weekday brunch, the homemade special butter flavors, and their flower pot bread. And on my way out, I can always shop for some really beautiful specialty products and plants!

I know I say this a lot. But I really love this place. The atmosphere is like a nature preserve in doors. The food is fresh and clean with lots of choices for vegans, vegetarians and gluten free folks. I had the burger which is grass fed. My friend had the halibut and he loved it. The omelets and the fried avocado eggs Benedict. French fries are always the best. The cafe also has a garden store with great gift ideas. You’ll really enjoy the food, the great wait staff and the whole vibe of the place. Check it out.

Terrain Cafe offers a unique blend of garden decor, rare pots, vases, and exotic plants. Waiting to be explored. Easy find on busy Route 1. Also hidden inside, a little Terrian cafe serves delicious brunch perfect for a relaxing hangout. Two parking lots for hassle-free access.

my all time favorite gem . nice ambience for brunch , foods are great and wanna spend time with friends and family with good vibe, always recommended; price are not expensive but upscale vibe . service are nice and better to have reservation earlier .

Magical. There’s nothing else to be said outside of the other comments other than I came here in winter and cannot even imagine how beautiful it must be in the summer with the outdoor space. The shop is a feast for the eyes. The food was very good. Definitely planning to return!

5! Such a great spot. Located in a giant market that’s filled with plants and seasonal gifts- it’s like walking into a Fall/Christmas emporium!
Lots of fun drink options, including spirit free, and many seasonal choices.
The food is good, there is something for everyone. Highly recommend the mushroom soup.
Great lively spot that’s good for kids and there are lots of vegetarian options.

TERRAIN CAFE IN WESTPORT! Love this place! They got a garden restaurant and you can shop some lotions and soaps, wreaths, plants, hand towels, pots, home decors and so much more. They no longer have their baked stuff like croissants and cookie by the coffee shop that they used to have before pandemic. Healthy food selection for lunch is good. Happy feels every time I go here!

It is a place with a magnificent atmosphere, right behind that plant and home goods store that looks very nature-like.

The menu is full of carefully selected ingredients. I especially loved the selection of seasonal fruits and vegetables that were in season.

The taste of every ingredients in the bowl spreads in your mouth. And very fast service. It got full marks from me. Be sure to go!

we were looking for a brunch spot before heading to New Haven and found Terrain Cafe - the food, coffee and plants definitely caught my attention and so we made reservations.

we were so amazed as soon as we arrived with the greenery and all the garden stuff they offer. All the plants looked so healthy and the pottery they had for sale looked wonderful. Before we forget we were supposed to eat we then headed to the cafe and made our orders.

we had the grilled cheese sandwich, terrain breakfast and Harvest bowl. All were freshly made and delicious! they make great lattes too and have delicious juices.

This was really a cool and fun spot and we enjoyed our brunch as well as exploring the facility even after we dined. Glad we stumbled upon this cafe. Highly recommend!

I came here today with my mom and sister for my birthday brunch! Everything from the food to the drinks were amazing. To drink I got the blueberry bramble! It is an amazing drink to get and refreshing to! The flavors of it is good! To eat I got the Brioche French Toast. It was extremely delicious and tasty to! We also got the grilled cheese and that was delicious to. You also get a bread In a flowerpot and a special flavor of butter. I highly recommend that you come to this restaurant to eat at! Absolutely adorable cafe located inside of a nursery/ furniture / decor store called Terrain.
The atmosphere is relaxing, the place is casual and chic at the same time.

I went on a Thursday and it was full, I recommend to make a reservation before going.
Little detail I liked, they put the bread inside a plant pot (The bread tastes between a bread and a brioche and is delicious).
The service staff is professional, attentive and nice.

Such a wonderful dining experience! Sat at the bar and the staff were sooo friendly and welcoming. My oat milk latte and harvest bowl was absolutely delicious but I do wish they had more vegan options on the menu. looks like some stuff can be altered to be vegan though and staff was happy to help me. The store was GORGEOUS and huge with so many beautiful plants and home decor. I wanted everything. Can't wait to go back.

I took my mom here for Mother’s Day brunch, she loves plants and gardening. This was the perfect spot for her! Our server was so sweet and attentive, the food was absolutely delicious, and we had such a great time walking around the store checking out all the plants and home decor after. Super cute!

Beautiful place! It's a cafe/bar restaurant inside of a beautiful plant shop with elegant decor, candles, soaps, lotions and so much more. The food and drinks were fantastic. I came to visit a friend who works there at the restaurant. I will definitely visit again. Best of all they had gluten free, and vegan options.

This place is magical! We've stopped here on 2 rare trips through CT 10yrs apart & both times were equally amazing. The food, the shopping, the inspiration & every single employee were pure magic!

Excellent experience all around! The service staff was extremely kind, patient and accommodating to our party's special needs, the food itself was excellent (YOU HAVE TO ORDER THE CHOCOLATE TERRARIUM, I keep thinking about ever since I tried it! It's a work of art both visually and as a dessert!) and the ambiance (we did outdoor table) is excellent. I'm somewhat biased because I love plants and gardening, and had a chance to browse the beautiful displays and products after my meal (We received 20% off coupons for the store after we finished our meal!). Our server really made the experience though I *think* her name was Michelle?
