Ryan looked over the car we were considering buying - he was super nice, super thorough, spent a lot of time with us pointing out every little pro and con, things that may need to be repaired immediately or in future, estimates on what they might cost. Super impressed - I see why this place has incredibly high ratings everywhere online! We plan on bringing our car back here to get serviced in the future!

I dropped off my vehicle with Ryan for a diagnostic engine light check and was given the golden treatment I did not expect. He narrowed down the issue for me even though he could not repair my vehicle but was very generous and kind enough to not charge me. He even replaced a couple of valve connectors at no charge. He gave me a good reliable auto repair shop that could fix my issue too. Not many maintenance shops will give you this type of treatment. If I ever need maintenance on my vehicle again, then Hotz Automotive Repair is where I will go and so should you.

We are new to the area (military family) and found this place online for a transmittion leak. Turns out it was an oil leak. We were charged nothing for the diagnosis and offered a very reasonable price to get the car fixed. We are very impressed. They also offer military discounts. We will be using this shop from now on.

If you are looking for a damn good mechanic, who wont price gouge you, is professional, reasonable, upfront, what should be fixed now and what can wait...then this is your guy! He can work on any kind of car. Also, if you have an old muscle car or are restoring a car that is his absolute favorite and his specialty. He has a customer for life in me!!

2 days ago, my air conditioning in my car went out. I had a coupon for 50% of a recharge at a particular place, so I took it there. When I went to pick it up, they told me that it needed a new belt, a new compressor, and something new with the A/C...long story short, over $1,300 worth of work. I said NO!

In the meantime, I had to get an emmissions test so I could renew my license plate sticker on my car. I failed the emmissions test, because my check engine light was on. I got ahold of Ryan Hotz, of Hotz Automotive, which is right behind the Dairy Queen off Lebanon Avenue. He got my car in yesterday. It did need all the things the other place said, but it also needed an oil change, and he looked it over and some valve cleaned out to pass the emmissions test. He said that valve was filthy!! He did all this work for me for a VERY reasonable price that I could afford.

If I would have had all this done at the other place it would have been over $1,600....he saved me almost $1,000 and he does amazing work!

After taking my truck to a *certain local shop we've been using for decades but has recently come under new ownership 😠* i was told i needed all new brakes, shocks, and tires..would've cost me 1800.

I heard good things about ryan so i took it to hotz..he looked at it for free and let me kno all i needed was front pads and shocks. Even took the time to explain why i needed those components.

Ryan had me get the parts separately and did the labor at an affordable price..saving me $1405!!!!!! No that's not a typo, ryan really saved me 1400.

He is the .most honest dependable mechanic I've ever met with emphasis on honest and his prices are very reasonable I recommend him highly old school car or new he's my mechanic of choice
