Granite City has Great Parks !!! grass cut , beautiful flowers, clean, never trash all over, and the smaller children love this little park , lots of activities but just the basics and about 5 years and older prefer the large playground and Big Park. It's a good spot to learn how to behave when out at playgrounds and also learn the equipment safely with less children.

I remember playing at this park when I was age 2-4 around 1970. It's mostly the same equipment, but I think it's cool it hasn't changed in all that time. My Mom called it "Kiddy Coral", but I don't know if that was the actual name. Even the fencing is the same style but I remember it painted red, white and blue.

First time going yesterday . My daughter enjoyed it . The lady I was talking with said they updated a lot of equipment out there .

Family reunion time and this place had it all, warm homey feel, no gang activity, plenty of parking ,and confederate statue free!!!!
