St Adalbert Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleums

While the workers are there routinely, it is all the people who come there often and take care of the markers and stones.
The only thing is they need to stop people from using this cemetery for sports activities.
This is a place for people to be able to grieve, pray, and bring families to share their stories.

When I visit Chicago, I always visit grandpa's grave, the office staff are so nice, when I could not find an uncle in the family area, and they looked it up and he had no tomb stone..they were so kind and caring...

Incredibly welcoming and wonderfully organized employees. Helped with my research of direct ancestors buried in this cemetery. Their kindness was remarkably heartwarming.

說真的，此生我從未見過如此寬闊如大草原、美麗如大公園的墓場~寧靜、祥和，而不是陰森和令人恐懼的墓園。而且意料之外，在Niles 竟然處處可見墓場如此貼近人群。我實在很想查詢這裡的眾多墓場在Niles的土地面積所佔的密度是否全球之冠？😅

但是毫無違和的，Niles 的居民住宅區、商家賣場、餐廳旅館業者，甚至療養院等等行業無一不緊鄰著墳園，是沒有任何忌諱的，甚至是相當親切的與居民的日常生活相融。我猜想這是墓園的經營管理、墓場的環境設計和景觀維護有相當的關係。

是啊！所以它是如此平易近人。常常的，可以看到人們在這裡漫步，低頭沉思、喃喃自語，或獻上鮮花蠟燭等小物擺在墓碑前面或旁邊，很是可愛。尤其到了夜晚，漆黑的草原上，幾處點點燭光晃動，就像地上的小精靈正在開著夜宴party ~觸動人心。😊
