Chop Suey Hut

Chop Suey Hut's entrees are the best chinese I've had around. The drunken spaghetti was the definite winner and SO flavourful, but the basil chicken was also yummy. Maybe the best crab rangoon I've ever had. Entrees were $15-$16 and portions remind me of places that serve family style - each one was 3 meals. Our waitress was fabulous. We will definitely back!

We love the Chop Suey Hut! We don’t live in the area and found this Restaurant by accident and we are glad we did. We drive about 35 to 40 minutes at least once a week to have their Egg Rolls and Mongolian Beef. It’s the best ever.
We have even brought finicky family here and they loved it and will make it a regular dining location.
Our waitress’ have always been super sweet and attentive. The food is presented very well and so Yummy!

The food was great, as it always is at Chop Suey Hut! The service was excellent too, but our server was too soft-spoken, never introduced herself, and we had to ask her to repeat literally everything she said. Still great service though!

This place has the best food out of anywhere I have been serving Chinese dishes. Egg rolls are knock out. Sauces on point. Server we had was kind and attentive. Couldn't have asked for better food, service or evening.

Well, this place is just so much better and cooler than the name implies. No disrespect, but having never been before, the image conjured in my minds eye upon hearing of this destination was not what I encountered...especually since I prefer going in fresh, Costanza style, having no knowledge of the experience prior to it.

Anyway, this place is no hut, but a palatial cornucopia of excellent dishes, the perfect blend of the old favorites and new twists on the classics. Something for everyone here, I recommend heading over for dinner to enjoy the picturesque beauty of the 'Square' a bustling area of culture and commerce tucked away in the sleepy town of Woodstock.

Puxatawney Phil can stay burrowed an extra six weeks, so I can explore this wonderful area under the twinkling glow of life, love and laughter that can be found around every corner....with the right pair of eyes.

First timer. Looking forward to coming back. had a low mein special, enough piping hot noodles to feed two people. It was loaded with meat and so many shrimp, I lost count. Everyone in our dinner party, enjoyed their dinner and needed take out boxes. I can easily justify driving from Algonquin to indulge!

Can’t believe I’ve lived here 25 years and had never eaten here until last night! Food is amazing!started with egg drop soup; the best we have had. Then crab Rangoon. Yummy! The we had kung pao shrimp, chicken fried rice and moo shoo chicken. All so good, with so many vegetables! We weillbe back soon!

This restaurant has the best Crab Rangoons ever. I have lived in 6 states and visited many more, no one surpasses Chop Suey Hut's Crab rangoons. Their tomato, pepper, beef is amazing, along with any fried rice selection. Their fried rice is superior to any other that I have had. I relish visiting Illinois and make a point of stopping here every time!

So glad there is delicious chinese food so close to home. I slept on this place for years and will definitely go back we had a miscommunication with the service on what was ordered by my wife but they fixed it and made up for it for a very enjoyable experience.
I will come back/ carryout/ order delivery from here exclusively for Chinese from now on. Wish they had more locations with the same quality.

Everybody loves Chinese food, but we always have a hard time finding FOODNETWORK style. This place tops everything I ever have had in my life. I ordered the pineapple fried rice and the color and flavor is amazing, I also ordered the egg drop soup, wonton soup, egg rolls and pineapple gai pan. All the veggies were cooked but still had that fresh crunch along with them, the shrimp wasn’t that pinky nail-sized shrimp it was actual shrimp!! The egg rolls tasted so fresh and not deep fried to a crisp it has a nice soft but flakey filled with flavor unlike most of the common air filled egg rolls from other restraunts. Wonton soup noodles are full piece sheet noodles and egg soup is so well balanced. This is a place we’re there no need to be shy when ordering anything because everything has someone standing behind each bite with pride in what they serve to our community.
11/10 would recommend to anybody, and the travel would be worth it!

I've tried the Lo Mein and General Chicken also phenomenal 5 stars and reasonable prices.

Chop Suey Hut is one of the best Chinese restuarants you could ever ask for. Amazing staff, amazing food, all at spectacular prices. Everything is made fresh per order, the buffet has a beautiful variety between entrees, sides, and salads!
If you're looking for a delicious meal, a beautiful drink, or just looking to snack on some perfect Crab Rangoon, this is the place to go! All in the heart of Woodstock!

So I took a leap of faith from a friend and WOW! From the cleanliness, kind gentleman (Dean) at the counter, the fantastic waitresses (Natalie)and the amazing food. This place hits on all levels. I cannot say enough how wonderful this entire evening was. If your looking for excellence in every category this is the place.

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants. Fried green bean appetizer to die for. Fried shrimp appetizer - tempura batter, 10 big shrimp, so delicious. Crab rangoon little round pillows of heaven. Chow fun is a favorite and other entrees good. Atmosphere nicely redone. Big fish tank, lit up waterfall light wall. Busy at peak times. Parking good but can fill up. Wait staff always nice. Affordable. Sorry no pics - I ate my food too fast 😉 Next time. Try it, it's good!

Enjoyable food, it seems a little lighter and healthier than many other Chinese food places. Lots of options not commonly seen, and great BBQ pork.

Pictured is the Barbecue Pork Lo Mein , which I ordered spicy and it was ACTUALLY spicy. We also got the Crab Rangoon which are the delicious savory kind, not the sweet ones that taste like desert. Their hot mustard is freaking amazing! It tastes like the traditional Cantonese homemade recipe I'm used to.

This place doesn't come up very easily on Google Maps or any restaurant mapping app. I found them by driving by their location and I am so happy I did!

Best egg rolls ever and the drink and food menu is expansive. Great atmosphere and service

Food is always amazing & Fresh Sometimes you will have to wait a little bit for pick up but I never worry because it’s always ready pretty quickly even when they are beyond busy at times

Had dinner, was good and hot. Service was great also. No longer have buffet there, was disappointed. Been awhile since I was there.
