Could not disagree about the community supporting each other. Drop by Woodstock to just walk around and realized the community is welcoming homecoming team at the square. Family members were all prep up along the street awaiting the team.

Wedding on new year eve 12/31/23 in the band stand. I can't say more for how beautiful this square is when decorated for the winter holidays and how beautiful a setting it is in general. Love what our little town puts into this place.

Great little town to visit, shop, eat, and walk around. When we visited on December 2nd, it looked like a town you would see in a Hallmark movie.

The visit was impromptu, but had so much fun. The citizens and business owners are great supporters of the community and knowledgeable about the movie Groundhogs Day (Bill Murray & Cast Ensemble). The restaurant waitstaff, a wonderful couple of ladies who are very active in the art side of the community, and of themselves invested, accomplished, and admirable as talented artists, successful women in business and leadership, and community minded. They also skillfully educated on the wonderful aspects & rich history of the town outside of the movie.
Payton, the son of the owners of the Bed & Breakfast in the movie is a knowledgeable, thoughtful young gentleman who gave us a tour, shared the lovely story of how his mother's life long dream of owning a B&B came to fruition. Btw, B&B guests who were departing that day, left with a strong demonstration of gratitude and spoken appreciation of the accommodations and their stay. FYI, to book a B&B stay for an actual Groundhogs Day is at the 5 year mark! We decided to return in the fall for the loca(s)l color and the autumnal color. The architecture of downtown, the historic homes, the warm & friendly people is a real draw to want to return. The back drop of the movie is a bonus!

The Woodstock Square has a welcoming, inclusive environment. One of the big selling points for housing in the area is being within walking distance to the Square.

It is a perfect spot to take a walk, admiring the historic atmosphere. The Farmer's Market (Tues/Sat, May-Oct) is one of the best. Very dog friendly!

Fantastic restaurants and food. My favorite is Cesaroni's Cafe & Deli 🥪 ☕ The movie theatre has unbeatable prices for matinee shows all week long.

Attending Woodstock Pride in June is a must! The town is putting quite a bit of effort into expanding the square so there's much to keep an eye out for.

Note: Many shops are closed on Sundays so if you're making a weekend trip, I recommend coming out on Saturday!

Walking around the square was a good experience. They have a nice park with a gazebo that is used for various purposes. There are a variety of business in the square, and a historic opera house. This is where the movie "Groundhog Day was filmed, and there is a walk way dedicated to the movie. We had a very time for our first time visiting!

Woodstock Square was featured in the iconic 1993 film Groundhog Day. This square is well-maintained and pretty in the spring with all the blooming tulips. They host Farmers Market on Saturday's and Tuesday's surrounding the square. There are also a bunch of cafés and restaurants as well as retail shops in the square. Some of my favorites are Blue Thistle, Ethereal Confections, Material Things, Read Between the Lynes, Starbucks, The Backdrop, The Peacock Shoppe, and The Thoughtfulness Shop.

We were there for the Tuesday Farmer's Market. The Farmer's Market wraps around the park area in the city Square. They had a nice variety of booths and two different live musicians in the square.one followed the other. Both were very entertaining and good singers.after eating and shopping on the square we sat listened for a while. It was a pleasant morning.

This is a great place to visit. If I lived here I would be found at Ethereal almost daily for their coffee and amazing chocolate. Sweet boutique shops and lovely hometown square. It's even better if you love the movie groundhog day.

It's a beautiful place to hang out. A wide variety of unique shops and food for a variety of tastes. We visit here frequently but were here for the Pride fest. There is a great barbecue place down here along with some excellent chocolate shop.

So much cool history in this little town, the movie sites is the biggest attraction but the old town center is very interesting.

Visited today and last night for the first time to celebrate Groundhog Day. The people here are wonderful! We had so much fun exploring Woodstock Square and participating in Groundhog Day festivities! We met some really fun people, including Stephen Tobolowsky, who starred in the movie, which we had a chance to watch as part of Groundhog Day festivities, as well as touring places like the Opera House and the Moose Lodge, which normally are not open to the public. We had a great time!
