Classic Cinemas Woodstock Theatre

I have loved this place since I was a kid and it was only 2 movie screens then. Now with 9 screens you get all the new blockbuster movies and some more obscure releases all at the same place! Brought my daughter to her first movie there last year for Groundhog's Day the movie! Keep up the great service!

Gotta love this place. Excellent seating, great acoustics, tuesday $5 movies all day. Concessions are expensive but free refills so going small is a good idea. A large soda should come with wheels anyway to get it to your seat. More soda than any sane person would drink in a week, free refills if you want to take the kids swimming afterwards.😉

and if you go there on Feb 1 to watch the "Groundhog day" then you'll step right in to the middle of the movie set exiting the theater.

This cozy theater located right outside of Woodstock Square is a great place to enjoy a relaxing night or to catch a early daytime showtime. The entire theater was clean from the concession stand, lobby, auditorium and the restrooms are all very clean. All the staff workers were in a good mood and relaxed. I really like the "classic" look they had going on with the uniforms. (not a basic pole paid for buy a big studio) to promote a upcoming movie. Rather they wore a traditional white button down with a red bow tie. When buying my ticket I was asked if I was a "classic cinemas rewards member", sense I was not I decided to sign up before I did using my smart phone. Over all my experience was most enjoyable!

LOVE the new reclining/heating chairs. Have always loved this cinema. Friendly, clean & great movie experiences.

I have always loved going to movies here. Can’t beat the price for movie, popcorn and drinks. What I spend here is the cost of one ticket in other theaters. I also don’t have to worry about purchasing seats ahead of time. This place is the best!
Recent medical issues caused some hearing difficulties. I was able to use the theater’s special headphones. Wow! Amazing! I was able to understand the whole movie and without bothering others next to me. I could adjust the volume accordingly in each ear. This theater is truly a blessing. Thank you for being a part of our community. I just wish more would realize what a gem you are.

Very affordable, and clean. Great screen and sound. Comfortable chairs with armrests and drink holders. An all around good place to bring the family and not leave broke.

Bought tickets online for me and my sister to see the fnaf movie and I was charged but never got the tickets. UPDATE they compensated us

Very nice staff, and nicely designed theater. Prices are average for theaters, and tolerable (if adjusting for 'Brandon's' inflation). Most snacks are ok, but the popcorn always seems crumbled into small pieces.

Most affordable movie theater in mchenry county. Free refills on all sizes! Plus, Woodstock is so full of charm it’s hard not to be enchanted by this theater.

Awesome place, great price. You will not find a better spot, from the square outside the theatre packed with stores, bars, farmers markets, murals, statues, live music, holiday decoration and a ton more, the place is always jumping on Tuesdays ( cheap ticket Tuesday,farmers market, taco Tuesday) and the weekends. One of my favorite places on this planet. Talk a walk and a nice inhale, and breathe in that epic, and busy old school small town vibe. This place is the cherry on top.

3 young ladies and man at counter were polite, attentive and professional. I purchased gift cards, they made it a positive experience. GREAT to see young people with a smile and appear to enjoy their job and their co-workers.
