High Tide Restaurant and Bar

Food was great the wife had the lobster Mac and cheese and I had the lobster stir fry.. food was great and presented very good. The waitress was right on it and got our drinks quickly and only took about 12 minutes for food to arrive. We sat inside but they have a great out door seating option. Would recommend.

Wow, great spot!! The lobster roll was awesome served warm with hot butter. They serve Blanton's!! The server asked if I wanted a rim job? You need to do it. Carmel and Cinnamon sugar!!!!

We had a group of 20 family members together for a week at a lake house and needed to find a place that could fit us all in for dinner on our last night there. High Tide was very accommodating and provided great service and yummy food with a very good selection even for those who don’t prefer seafood. A few of the group got whole lobsters and several of us got the fettuccini Alfredo with lobster or shrimp. Our son and his fiancé ate here for lunch one day earlier in the week and highly recommended it to us as they had great service and really enjoyed the food as well

We ordered a fried High Tide Platter, pizza, and kids mac& cheese.

The seafood was perfectly cooked, not over or underdone, and the breading was nice and light. The side salad wasn't the iceberg bagged mix that so many restaurants use, it was leafy greens and fresh veggies.

The mac & cheese, and the pizza were delicious.

Wonderful food and service!! I had fish & chips. One of our party had a lobster roll and one had a shrimp & pasta dish. Everything was fabulous and it's always one of our favorite places to go when we are here. The view is good and the patio dining is the best. Definitely a 'must go!'

Great food and service! We had tge bacon-wrapped scallops, lobster bisque, and lobster rolls. The scallops were big and cooked to tender perfection. The lobster bisque was hot, velvety smooth, and full of meat. The lobster rolls were also large, on grilled tasty rolls, with lots of delicious lobster! Nice people and great atmosphere!

This is the only place I saw in Maine that had Lobster Bisque on the menu and it was AMAZING! Large amounts of lobster chunks and creamy like the way a soup should be. I also loved the cleanliness and the decor of the restaurant. I also got the stuffed lobster next time I would try the Lobster roll or regular lobster. This is was one of our favorite places while here.

I had the Lobster roll with butter and I've been craving another one ever since. I'll definitely be back before my trip is over and every time I visit Bangor.

I had the cranberry chicken salad wrap, which is everything you desire in a wrap. Juicy chicken, right amount of mayo, loved the cranberry, so delicious! Mr Right ordered his lobster roll, (Ct style, warm, melted butter on the side, no lettuce). Our waiter did an excellent job clarifying exactly what the hub wanted!! Mr Right thought his lobster was heaven. We sat outside, so we could see the river. Staff is excellent if you have questions!

Snuck in right before sunset to grab some apps and drinks, so glad we did. Excellent spot for a late night drink. Staff was wonderful. Food was delicious. Highly recommend! We got the artichoke dip and potato skin special!

Great place for dinner. The staff from the hostesses, waitress, food runners and bus girls were so friendly and professional. The food was delicious and the views were stunning. My wife ordered the lazy man lobster dinner, and I had the broiled platter Cajun style. We ordered the capreses Flatbread for an appetizer and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Everything was amazing.

Really enjoyed this place, fast service and delicious food. Twin lobster was a bit pricey but everything else was well worth it.

The food was excellent, I had the Salmon Oscar & a salad with the house chianti basil vinaigrette. My husband had the prime rib ,a salad & a baked potato , he was very pleased with it. We also took home a piece of blueberry pie, which was also excellent .The atmosphere was very good, and was part of the reason we went there!!

Had a great meal tonight. Had the stuffed haddock with asparagus and a salad with the house dressing. It was a well paced delicious meal. My server recommended the house salad dressing and she was right. The strawberry creme brulee was a bit runny but tasted great. Second time eating here and it was great both times. I highly recommend this restaurant! The views are lovely as well.

Great place to have lunch or dinner right on the Penobscot River in brewer over looking Bangor. ME. Great staff, awesome food. Check it out. I had the baked Haddock it was perfect.

We went on a Friday night in August. We got an outdoor table looking over the Water and walkway. They had a great band playing ..60 and 70s music.Very good! I ordered a Lobster Mac and cheese, others ordered Lobster roll, and yummy fried Calamari. Loved our drinks too..I ordered the peanutbutter painkiller..really good. My mom liked her Cosmo. Also I loved their Chianti house dressing..wow..sooo good! Everything was great! Loved the fun atmosphere and great staff.

Our waitress "Tall Alex" was just great. The crowd was very local and chill. Visited in the middle of winter so didn't enjoy the outdoor area. Will be back for sure.

The food was delicious. We were a party of 4 and chose different entrees. We all started with lobster bisque and it was the best I have ever eaten. We had fish and Chips, baked haddock, shrimp scampi and baked scallops . Each meal was cooked perfectly and was thoroughly enjoyed. We finished with lemon cello cake and that was the perfect ending. On top of everything was a waiter that knew his job and performed well.

We had a phenomenal server, he was literally the best part of our experience. My wife and I traveled to Maine for a wedding and decided to stay to see some sights and visit some restaurants. We picked this place on a whim and it was the perfect decision. Very tasty food and a very fun experience. We will definitely stop by this restaurant again next time we come back to Maine.
