Who knew this little gem existed in Peru Illinois all places!? Pretty tasty food. Good size portions. Lost to choose from on the menu. Pretty good list of beers and and excellent assortment of margaritas. Can't forget about the tequila also. Don't skip out on this place if you're in the area.

We loved our meal at Jalapeños! Tried the enchiladas and the fajitas. Service was super fast, food came out fast, fresh, hot, and delicious. Servers make the guacamole tableside. Large drinks. Highly recommend!

I loved it at Jalapeños. They were very busy, but was seated right away and we were eating within 20 minutes. The food was amazing. There were so many choices. Will be back again and again.

If you ask for table made quacamole, they push a cart to your table and make it fresh for you.

I really love the salsa! Everyone is friendly and I've never waited more than 10 or 15 minutes for my food after I order. I've sampled a lot of the menu items and haven't found anything I wouldn't get again. Very delicious.

Good service and delicious good! Took a bit to wait to be asked if we were being served but under Covid conditions it's understandable attention is divided in all directions. Inside dining tables are set for social distancing and outdoors dining is available as well. We had the carne asada, fajitas and Vallarta plate(?) And kiddo had cheeseburger (and said it was yummy). Plates we had along Margaritas and long Island are delicious. Overall happy with the experience.

They have good flavor. I'm super picky about mexican food and I ordered various dishes to try and I can see why many people return. The servers are also very kind and attentive. Highly recommend the enchiladas suizas. 😋

AMAZING fast, friendly service fish tacos absolutely AMAZING, hubby loved the Texas Platter we would both order these items again. Queso and guacamole was very good! We will definitely be back again!

We decided to try this place because their menu options seemed unique and intriguing. I'm so glad we did! The table side guacamole was fun to experience and yummy. The Chori-Pollo was delicious, and the empanadas and Esquites were great starters. My husband tried the Tour of Mexico and enjoyed it all. We will definitely come back again!

Waiters check on my table the right amount of times. Food is delicious. The aesthetic of the place is simply amazing. Definitely will keep coming back! 😊

Jalepenos had the best fajitas and guacamole I’ve had in a long time. The server was very nice and helpful. The only downfall was having to pay for extra tortillas, but the food quality was 100% worth it. Best mojito I have ever had!!

Awesome place for extended Mexican menu. Good food, great atmosphere, with outdoor seating. The workers are very personable, and fast. Even on their busy nights, this place has everything in order.

Picked up dinner here when I was traveling through and have to say the staff was great and the food was probably some of the best Mexican I've had in a long time.

THE BEST SALSA!!! I came with my family today and had a regular meal. The waiters were very nice, and they even had sports games on TV’s. If you are looking for a place to eat come here. They have the best salsa, and great cheese dip.

From the minute we got out of the car in the parking lot, I was excited. The exterior is super cute with a great big Mexico yard sign. The entryway is decorated very nicely and the decor and ambience is just what you want from a Mexican restaurant. The margaritas were delicious and the queso and guacamole were on point! At that point, we were happy! Then our food came and all of the entrees were delicious. We have found our Mexican go to place for sure!
