Great fly shop with tons of selection. Locally tied flies as well as the commercially available flies you would expect to find most other places. They also seem to have a great variety of tying supplies, vices, and gear to outfit your kit.

Friendly service, local expertise, reasonable prices, and a great selection of products from flys, spinners, fishing maps, waders, etc.

The fisherman's guide, Ger, was phenomenal. He was not only knowledgeable, but also very friendly. I highly recommend their fishing guide service, especially if you are new to fly fishing.

The whole fly shop team is Very helpful, they have an excellent selection of flies, tying material and tools. The flies they carry are very reasonably priced and hold up much better than anything I’ve ever ordered on line or purchased from the big box stores. They even have a very nice selection of spin-cast baits and equipment.

Very helpful staff if you have questions. Fair prices and good selection. Recently bought a pair of waders there and the guy who helped me could not have been more helpful and courteous. Highly recommend if you are in the area and need any sort of gear.

Great place. Laid back. Not trying to push product on you. Want to talk fish. I live in the rockies but if I'm in the Midwest I would go out of my way to visit. A shop geared for real fly fishing people.

A terrific, well-stocked fly shop, with a knowledgable staff and a huge inventory of trout flies. The fly tier can find nearly everything needed for the craft, including the largest inventory of hooks I've seen.

Best flyshop in the Midwest. Brian and the crew are super knowledgeable and friendly. The will get you what you need to get out and crush it on the water. Not just flies either checkout their conventional gear....if you're into that sort of thing.

Great little fly shop with more than just fly fishing gear. Do us fisherman a favor and shop here, because we need more places like this to be successful. Everything you'd ever need to fish the Kinni, plus plenty of tying materials and tools.

Always super helpful. I went in this weekend and I think his name was Ron, helped me contextualize my nymph setup for the Kinni. Really appreciated the time he took to talk me through a bunch of basic questions. I do realize these guys aren't paid to teach fly fishing, but he definitely gave best effort answering my questions. I also noticed that someone who works there has epic taste in music, most specifically the #fridayflyshopmusic posts I've seen on Instaface. Husker Du, Violent Femmes, Descendants, Prince, and others. Just missing Dillinger Four and the Mats :) Highly recommend as a casual, cozy, and all-around cool ass store. Oh, and following my trip there, using a bugger he suggested, pulled three very nice brookies out of the lower before snagging a tree where that bugger will live for the next 200 years.

I love this place. If I weren't an impoverished hobo living in a box, id spend more money here. Really, its a great little shop. Buy some flies, a hat, some t-shirts and be happy.

Excellent selection and expert local advice for when you are hitting the Kinnickinnic or the Rush! The loss of Lund's Hardware in River Falls has been a shock, however, the entire outdoor sports department from Lund's has been saved and is now just down the road at Lund's Fly Shop. They have all the fly fishing gear you could ever want or need, and also carry a lot of hard tackle and hunting gear. I highly recommend stopping at the preserved Lund's Fly Shop before your next day on the river.
