Cod Cove Inn

This is an amazing place to stay. You are situated on a hill with a gorgeous view of a bay. Sunrise, sunset and fog, I was able to experience it all. The rooms are cozy, comfortable and great amenities. The breakfast is something you do not want to miss. The owner actually bakes, yes you read that correct, he bakes blue berry and chocolate muffins! Out of the 20 days I stayed I only missed one breakfast. The owner was kind to safe me both muffins. I highly recommend the Cod Cove it’s wonderful and perfectly located to travel up and down the coast, as well as, Booth Bay.

We really enjoyed staying here. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We loved the location with easy access to Wiscasset, Boothbay, and the midcoast. Very quiet at night and nice view of the water with downtown skyline. Nick from the front desk was fabulous. Always available and the breakfast was always delicious. We will stay here again for sure!

I had a delightful stay at this hotel! The garden was simply enchanting, with vibrant flowers and lush greenery creating a tranquil oasis. The water view added an extra touch of serenity, providing a calming backdrop throughout my stay. The pool was a refreshing haven, perfect for a dip to beat the summer heat. And it was nice delicious breakfast also. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway surrounded by natural beauty.

My wife and I stumbled across Cod Cove Inn when we decided to take a last minute, no plans vacation in the beginning of November. We decided to take the room for 3 days because it was centrally located in the areas of Maine we wanted to explore. As soon as we walked into our room, it was like WOW ! The room was spacious, had nice views and a private balcony. We were on the first floor and still had great water views. The room was clean and comfortable. We were right off Route 1 so convenient access to anywhere we wanted to go and far enough off the road that you could not hear the traffic. The manager Nancy and her staff were super friendly and helpful when we asked about places to eat and things to do locally. We knew we were in the “off season” but she still gave great advice and we saw some beautiful sights and took lots of pictures. We were so impressed with the room and Nancy and staff’s welcoming attitude (they even offered us hot cookies fresh out of the oven at check-in) we booked an additional 3 days the next morning and spent our full weeks vacation based out of the Cod Cove Inn. The continental breakfast was the best we’ve ever had and a great variety. We enjoyed starting our day there. We highly recommend the Inn and look forward to returning. Thank you Nancy !!!

Motel. Clean, kept up nicely. Convenient to Boothbay Harbor at a reasonable price.

Very impressed with our stay. The room is so much bigger than a standard hotel room and is spotlessly clean. We checked in yesterday and check out tomorrow. While it's definitely an older building and has older furniture, what it lacks in modernity, is more than made up for in charm and friendliness. Stella ans Lauren were excellent hosts. The breakfast had plenty of options and the cookies at check-in were delicious. While we were out today, housekeeping went above and beyond in cleaning our room- they folded the clothes we had on the bed and straighted the snacks and toiletries we had on the counters. Then, the best part, I was just saying to my husband that I wished we had something sweet in the room, but didn't feel like going out. About a half hour later, Stella and Lauren knocked on the door with fresh baked chocolate chip cookies (they were delivering cookies to each room). We will definitely stay here again. Also, great central location.

Very happy with this hotel. Nice big rooms with spacious desk for working. Also, if you come here in winter. You have no other choice.

I stayed at this motel for two nights and had a great experience. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient for exploring the area, and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay here again!

What an amazing place. We stayed here for two nights. The staff were amazing. Stella and Lauren were very helpful and accommodating. They even brought fresh baked cookies around to everyone's rooms one night. They were very helpful during the breakfast rush too.

The room was huge and the view was phenomenal. The inn is located in a perfect position to visit the surrounding towns and attractions. Highly, highly recommend this place. Especially if the same staff is on board.

I had a really amazing stay! This is my fourth time staying here and I have been really impressed with the views, cleanliness and by two of their employees, Loren and Stella .In my few visits, they've gone out of their way to help me! From checking me in, prepping breakfast, and even helping when I knew they had just gotten off work, they really made my stay wonderful!

Excellent motel! Clean and well maintained. Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast, just as good as large chain hotels.

Only wished they had an elevator to take luggage up and down.

5 stars for its price range. Very nice people own /run the hotel. Quiet room with a nice view and balcony. Excellent simple breakfast starting at 7am with good muffins. Nice roomy and clean rooms. Very comfortable beds. Room was very hot when I first went in, but turning on the air conditioning fixed that in about an hour. Very nice that their was a mini fridge and microwave in the unit. Love that. If I get back to the area, i would not hesitate to stay here again. If your not into seafood, food in the area can be a little challenging to find. Recommended.

We stayed mid-week summer. Rooms and beds were comfortable, and we enjoyed the gardens and grassy areas with our dog. The lady who checked us in was very friendly! She also made fresh muffins each morning, which were a delicious surprise. The central location made it easy to explore Boothbay Harbor, Wiscassett, and Damariscotta.

Where to start? What a quaint inn, amazing views. Room was a bit dated but very cute. We really didn't care about that, everything in this world doesn't have to look like 2022! Hahaha.

Staff was super accommodating, and they included a full breakfast in the stay.

Loved the atmosphere! When we arrived (July 31, 2015), the owner was baking snicker doodle cookies - delicious. Rooms were clean and it was very quiet. The grounds were beautiful. Enjoyed the continental breakfast - wonderful muffins and coffee and fresh fruit. Our room had a small balcony to sit outside. Thanks for a great stay.

We spent two wonderful nights here. Jill was gracious enough to provide us with accommodations on very short notice. During the off season, continental breakfast is not provided; however, she left fresh homemade muffins, yogurt and fruit in our room each evening. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Our balcony provided a beautiful view of the landscaped property. Will stay here next trip to Maine.

This little inn was an absolute delight. It was close to Boothbay Harbor, Wiscasset, and other attractions. It was close to excellent restaurants as well. The owners and staff were friendly and accommodating. They served a nice breakfast. The room and the grounds are immaculate! I have never been in a cleaner hotel! I would highly recommend Cod Cove Inn and I will return for future visits.
