Gus' Coney Island

Started going here because they were the only place open at 6am, kept coming back for the fantastic atmosphere. The waitresses are so nice, the coffee is amazing, and I've only been disappointed by the food once or twice out of the countless times I've been. I've even taken my partner there and she was impressed by how much you get for the price.

They put love into their food you can tell the freshness .. It's not just thrown on a plate! I love this place!!! Hands down the best in the area!!

Chile cheese bacon onion fries were on point! Coney dog was great! Boom! Just what we needed after st patty day downtown!

Love this place, been going here since I was born and tbh I would pick this place over any coney Island. The food is awesome, very welcoming, and the service is great. The most I waited for my meal is maybe 15 minutes and that's when they are busy.

Servers are great!!!! Food is always perfect. They're grilled chicken salad is super amazing. Made to perfection.

Superior family joint. No frills, just good food delivered fast and hot. Endless coffee! Experienced waitstaff.

Detroit and Flint area Coney Islands are THE BEST!! It doesn't matter what time you eat here; it will be outstanding! Gus's had an amazing fajita salad. It was excellent on the evening I had it in the restaurant and almost just as good when I shared it for lunch the next day! Service was exceptional! Food arrived quickly, correctly, and pleasantly. I'll be going back often and greatly appreciate their business near my residence.

Always great food. I just wanted a coffee, but i ended up getting eggs too.

A staple. I go through their drive thru all the time. Always reliable. The food is standard coney fare. Nothing more, nothing less. I’ve been coming here for 12 years and I’ll always keep them in mind when I’m grabbing a bite in the area. I like the grilled chicken Caesar pita wrap.

Gus' is a great place for a quick meal or even a leisurely visit if you're in the mood. All of the food is great with generous portions and is served fast. I've honestly waited in fast food drive thrus for longer periods of time.

I personally recommend the Steak and Cheese Hoagie with Shoestring fries that are never burnt and are very tasty! The ranch dressing is good too!

Great diner! Fish and chips were excellent and the homemade potato soup was the best I have ever had.

Such nice people!! Uncle Gus is the owner. I saw him do something so cool for a customer while I was there today. This was my first visit. The food was good. I got a breakfast. Portion was way big to eat. Ham was so good. Server was Rose. Customers were all greeted by name and they were all so happy to be there. Just a lovely place to relax for a nice inexpensive meal. Thank Gus and crew!!!

Food is always good and served quick.. an delicious inexpensive place to eat.. oh and that one dark haired dark eyed waitress is gorgeous lol
