Swede's Service

These guys are the best shop I've ever come across. Prices are fair, and you're guaranteed not to get ripped off. In fact, this is the only shop I've been to that told me how to fix my car instead of bringing it in.

Very grateful for honest and quick service, and they took the time to explain to me, an automobile dumb-dumb, what the deal was and my options for repair. It is no wonder that Chad and the crew at Swede's are booked out as far as they are. Highly recommended.

I had a nail in my tire at 5:00pm. Not great timing but Swedes got me right in and fixed immediately! So appreciated and very reasonable on price to repair as well! Will definitely support this business in the future!

I stopped here for gas and to have a low tire light looked at. Swede, the owner could not have been more helpful and personal. Not the best place for a fancy coffee, but if you need work done on your car, it's the best in town!

Called at 7:30 about my tire light coming on before I got to work today. At my desk already at 8 with the screw out of my tire and in my hand with a perfectly patched road ready car. Seriously the fastest and friendliest service I've had at an auto shop in a long time.

I’m not a person who usually writes reviews. But I had too for Swedes. I had a nail in my tire. I was going out of town and they got me in right away and patched it! I was on my way within 20 minutes! My first but not last experience with them. I am SUPER IMPRESSED. Thank you!

Was going to get an alignment and scheduled apt. Chad asked 17" rims or less and i said, "Yup." Well, mine were 18 so i stopped by to cancel. He was polite and didn't complain about it. Seems like a no BS straight forward honest person and will give him business in the future.

Been counting on Swede's for years, for issues large and small, cars and trucks, old and new. They always come through, always cost less (even patched my tire for free because they "didn't really do anything"), always have solid advice, often fix what others can't, are rock-solid honest, and are great guys to boot. It's the best, and increasingly rare, kind of local -- and really GOOD -- service.

Had my tire pressure sensor break while trying to fill up my tires. Called here and Chad was able to take my car in, even suggested some tow companies to call for a decent price. Was very fast and even checked my other tires for me. I have always heard good things about Swedes from my friends and I was definitely impressed and will return for any needed work on my vehicle.

The most ethical car place I've ever been to. Chad explains all factors, mechanical, and economical, of the issue with your vehicle. The other guys are great too. You should definitely plan ahead because they're a bit of a smaller operation, but you will save in the long run. I had one place quote me for about 600 bucks for a throttle issue, and Swede's figured out the REAL issue and I drove away only spending about 50 dollars. After every service I'm even inspired to be a little more conscientious in my own vocation. And even when it's a big priced ticket, this crew deserves that money for the wonderful job they do in such a mysterious, often shady industry where finding a good honest mechanic is next to impossible. Go there.

Swedes has gotten me out of a pinch on multiple occasions. they fixed a muffler for me, re-installed a battery, and fixed an oil leak the day before I needed to make a long drive. They are efficient and as a college student who knows nothing about cars, I was so appreciative of their honesty. Super reasonable prices as well.

This shop is the definition of integrity and great service. We have had Swedes service our vehicles for years, will continue to do so and recommend this shop all the time. My dad started going and continues to go - this says a lot because he was pretty much a dealership service only client.

They always have time for you and do a great job. Highly recommend!!

I wouldn't bring my car anywhere else. Great honest straight forward guy's. I've used them for over four years now and actually moved to Minnesota and I still bring my car to River Falls to Swede's. It's like when you find a doctor you like and trust. Why would you change? They will have my business til the end😁

Swede's is the only place you should be taking your car for repairs. They're helpful, friendly, hardworking, and an overall great crew. I had a bit of an emergency pop up and called on Christmas Eve to see if I could get my vehicle fixed. Chad took my car and resolved the issue on the SAME day, a holiday no less! They were super understanding of my situation and were able to get me back on the road so this college kid could see her family for Christmas. I'll be taking my vehicle here for all my repairs from here on out. Thank you, Swede's!

Absolutely 5 stars I just stop in for a quick flat Fix.. absolutely great family owned business don't waste your time going somewhere else GO TO SWEDES....

Blew out a bearing on my suburban. Dropped the truck off Tuesday at 4:45 pm they said they could get it in on Friday and get it fixed which I thought was awesome seeing as it was no appointment just walked in. Wednesday afternoon at 2 pm that call me and tell me they had some free time got it in and fixed it in less than 24 hours. Great work at a great price this place is awesome. If you take your vehicle anywhere else in the river falls area you’re a fool. All my vehicle will be fixed here going forward.

When you find an honest mechanic, you had better stick with them and I’ll be sticking with Swedes. I took my daughters car in for a problem that two other shops couldn’t solve, but still charged me labor. Swedes told me what they thought it was, but said they couldn’t be sure. Suggested I take it to the dealer where their diagnostic computer could pinpoint the problem and didn’t charge me a cent. Took my truck in for a steering problem expecting a big bill. They told me that they did some work that solved 80% of the problem but I should drive it awhile to see if I want to replace the part which will cost more money. These guys are smart and honest. I highly recommend Swedes

Wonderful experience! My husband just joined the military and was gone when my car started acting up. I was nervous about taking my car to a shop because I don’t know much and I didn’t want to get ripped off. Chad explained everything to me in DETAIL and gave me a great price! Plus some extra useful information about my car. Will be going there from here on out!

Excellent quality. Got my brakes done last winter after they went out completely, barely got charged labor, found me a nice new set of drums, very communicative and prompt. Just brought my focus in for round 2 breakdown, found out transmission went out and the car is totaled, wasn't charged anything!

Great phone etiquette, super quick work.

Took my old Honda Civic in to have the A/C fixed as it wasn't working at all. Firestone quoted me $1300 saying the compressor was bad and some other related problems. I told Swedes I was hoping to just keep the cost under $500 if at all possible since it's an old car. Two hours later I get a phone call saying it was fixed and that it was just a faulty switch. Total cost? Wait for it-- a whopping $65.51. A/C works great! These guys couldn't be more honest and do fast, excellent work. Will bring all my cars here from now on.
