Conveniently located right off 95 interstate,this hotel has been under heavy renovations and is very easy to tell.From exterior,to lobby restrooms and all the rooms.
Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast is good enough for where you are staying (they can add a microwave). Food is good but lacking warm temperature.

We could not be happier with this very affordable hotel! We arrived around dinner time, and there were many families enjoying their takeout meals together in the lounge which offered lots of tables and chairs. We checked into our room and were pleased with how tidy and clean and comfortable the rooms were. We were so impressed with the continental breakfast which featured hot scrambled eggs, ham, and hash, as well as waffles, pastries, muffins, cereals, toasts, fresh fruit, yogurts, hard-boiled eggs, juices, milk, hot chocolate and great coffee with all the fixings!! The staff kept the kitchen and dining area so clean and orderly. We really liked the laidback family-friendly atmosphere as well as the location, cleanliness and great free breakfast, we will definitely be staying there again.

I am a nightshift nurse. Bangor Maine had a spring snowstorm that would force me to stay at a hotel. I called this hotel first and spoke to someone about a room for the day so I could make my next shift. I was told it wasn’t a problem and could come after my shift in the am. I was also told I would need to pay for the previous night as well which is normal across all hotel chains. I arrive after my shift and there were two women behind the counter. I wish I had asked for names. They weren’t exactly happy as their hotel policy is a strict check in after 3pm. However, they were very nice and understanding. They could have denied to allow me a room and I would have understood. Instead they apologized for the misinformation and still gave me a room. I took advantage of the free breakfast and it was one of the best I had at any of the other hotel chains. The eggs were not the egg powder mixed with water. The were actual egg pattys and hashbrowns, sausage. Such a delicious breakfast. I used to travel nurse and this hotel blew the others away. The room was exceptional. Very clean and comfortable. The hotel was quiet, so I was able to sleep well during the day. Check out was easy. I will definitely stay there again, except I’ll make an appropriate reservation! This stay was on March 23, 2024. I hope the two ladies at the counter and staff are recognized for their professionalism and kindness! Thank you!!

We were there for 2 days, the room had 2 queen size beds and there was plenty of room, one of the largest continental breakfast spreads I've seen in a long time. Food was great. Will definitely be back.

My wife and I were totally impressed by everything here at the Comfort Inn! Rooms were exceptionally clean and spacious. Fantastic location and service was amazing! Highly recommend!!

Fabulous lodging if you are going back and forth to EMMC. Only 5 minutes away and they offer a medical discount. Great breakfast buffet included in price of room. Every employee we encountered was simply wonderful. Place is very clean.

I stay at this hotel every time I'm in Bangor (2-3 times per year). It's close to lots of shopping places and the best restaurants, it's very clean and the staff is amazing. I made an error with my room booking and Sarah went above and beyond to help. They also have a great morning breakfast with lots of hot options. I really can't say enough good things about this hotel. I'm here now and I'll be back again. If you're on the fence, just book it and you'll be glad to our did.

Fantastic hotel, clean rooms, quiet halls so you'll get a great night's sleep then make sure to head down to the breakfast room because they really know how to do a continental spread. Juice machine, choice of coffee (strengths) hot coco & tea. Cold and hot cereals, fresh fruits, yogurts, bagels & pastries, a waffle station and a hot section that has eggs, bacon or sausage and even a huge pot of baked beans. Incredible, I've been in resorts that don't offer as much for breakfast.

My recent stay at Comfort Inn was nothing short of exceptional. The friendly and accommodating staff made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. Their customer service skills were truly outstanding and set the tone for a memorable experience.
The room was spotless, with comfortable bedding, linens, and pillows that made for a restful night's sleep. The climate control unit was updated, quiet, and easy to use, providing a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. I appreciated the option to have the fan always on, as it offered soothing grey noise in an already quiet hotel.
One of the highlights of my stay was the delicious and hearty breakfast, which included hot options and a variety of choices. In addition, the hotel's location was excellent, being in the heart of the shopping district and near various restaurants like Longhorn Steakhouse and Orono Brewing. It was also just a short drive from hospitals and major highways, making it a convenient base for exploring Bangor.
In addition to the great location, the hotel provided various amenities like games, puzzles, and cards in the lobby area for guests to enjoy.
Overall, my stay at Comfort Inn was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and welcoming hotel with a great breakfast and exceptional staff. The value for money was impressive, and I will return on my next visit to Bangor.

One of the best Comfort Inns I've stayed at. The cleanliness and the hotel staff are the best! The manager Sarah even gave me a list of spots to go to for a self guided Stephen King Tour. They definitely go above and beyond here!

This was nothing short of comfort. It was perfect and the breakfast was amazing. The staff made cookies at night for the guests to eat and my room was clean. The TV has all the channels from ESPN to Comedy Central. Great stay.

My room was very nice and comfortable. It has all the basics you'd expect. I even used their gym, which also had the basics and was very clean. The equipment seemed to be new as well.

Their free morning buffet has many items, both hot and cold. The eating area was good sized and I enjoyed the atmosphere and food.

The staff was very nice and always courteous. I recommend this hotel.

Lovely clean room and delicious breakfast. Good job housekeeping and cooks!!!! The clerk at the front desk said there were no cribs or pack n plays available for our baby to sleep in which was too bad. Over all a good experience.

Had a great stay here!! Previously, I was indifferent about Choice Hotels/Comfort Inn brand, however, this location is an excellent hotel. Very clean, comfortable, the linens and pillows, bedding are very soft and comfortable. The room climate control unit seems recently updated and quiet with easy controls right on the unit (whereas some hotels make u try to figure out the wall thermostat). I also liked the "always on" fan setting for grey noise although the hotel was quiet. Generally, the staff was great (despite being understaffed). A few good restaurants nearby. I dined at the Longhorn Steakhouse was very good, also Orono Brewing was very good.

Wonderfully clean n plenty of room....your breakfast buffet had great selection....best I've ever seen,,! Seems you renovated not long ago n especially appreciated fairly new carpeting! Keep it up!
