Hampton Inn Bangor

I recently stayed at the Hampton Inn Bangor during a snowstorm, and I must say it was a fantastic experience despite the circumstances. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the beds were very comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. I appreciated having coffee available both in the room and for free in the lobby 24/7, which was a nice touch. The hotel's amenities like the pool and jacuzzi were a welcome relief, especially during the cold weather. Having a mini fridge and microwave in the room was convenient, and the complimentary toiletries including a hairdryer were a nice addition. The highlight of my stay was definitely the delicious free breakfast, which offered a variety of options to start the day right. Overall, I highly recommend the Hampton Inn Bangor for its cleanliness, comfort, and excellent amenities, making it a great choice for any traveler.

Very nice hotel. I was happily surprised they were pet friendly when we realized last minute we would need to bring our dog. Spaces were very clean. Nice pool for the kids to play. Husband and kids liked the breakfast. And very happy to find out there was a rollaway bed as my girls prefer separate beds.

Stayed for 3 nights in a clean, comfortable, quiet room. Really appreciated being placed on the third floor. Nice view of sunrise over the mountain. Free breakfast was ok, not many options. Make your own mini waffle station was the star! Eggs were cold & tasted fake & worst of all no bacon! Not even turkey bacon. Pool area has towels and a few sitting areas. It is heated & very refreshing. Sauna was warm & relaxing. Staff is friendly & accommodating. Ice machine was broken on my floor. Lots to do around the area, plenty of shopping centers& sight seeing. Overall, I would recommend staying here.

I would definitely stay here again. The hotel appeared to be brand new and in excellent condition. The room was beautiful, clean and a very spacious. They even had a box fan for me to borrow as I forgot mine at home. I also enjoyed using the pool and the wonderful breakfast that was prepared for us every morning. Got to love those waffles. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.

Good service as expected from a major company. Great amenities and it made more sense to pay extra for a better room and amazing breakfast for 5. I would say 2 thumbs up

The room and the service were both spectacular! I loved it so much I came back to the Hampton. Just a peaceful place to go to lay your head and relax by yourself or with friends and family.

My husband and I along with our 3 children stayed in a queen double and let me tell you, this room was huge! We were very pleasantly surprised. The breakfast was one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had at a hotel! The pool was clean & my kids had a blast. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Thank you!!

Pretty decent hotel and good location. Close to good food options and drive is not too far from Acadia. I recommend if not bar harbor this place or city can be your choice. Because it can be more expensive in bar harbor.

Everything was super nice here, especially the pool/hot tub! :) the laundry room was down, but I was able to walk across the parking lot to use the laundry room at the Hilton Inn which was nice. Very friendly staff, and accommodating when I needed a fan to help me sleep. After a long day of flying here from Oregon, it was super nice to rest here. 💤

Typically clean, comfortable well-appointed Hampton Inn with a good free breakfast. There is nothing except a Denny's within walking distance for dinner; plan on driving to dinner or getting it delivered. Also a bit of a drive to the historic downtown area.

I stayed in a first floor room. After check in, the front desk receptionist informed me that I could park at the far end and access a side entrance. The room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Great sized pillows with four on my bed. The comforter was an interesting textures (in a good way, as in very soft but raised pattern) The room temperature was at 68 and the unit in the room worked perfectly. A nice size flat screen. The room had a microwave and mini fridge under the TV console. There is restaurant (Irish styled bar) at the Hilton Garden across the street. I decided to drive to a local Hannefords (grocery store) which was less than 10 minutes away. I used the microwave which was spotless and the fridge held my waters and fruit that I bought. Breakfast is provided and in the hotel lobby. I had a veggie omelet and a hot tea (cranberry apple). They had a great selection. The eating area was clean and there was a sitting area next to a fireplace. Complimentary newspapers were provided. I walked by the fitness center. I saw a number of devices ranging from a couple tread mills to a spin bike...i think there were more. I went back to take a showe. The water pressure was great and the water temperature great ( lots of hot water). A tons of towels. There were some nice sitting chairs in the room and I used the desk. A ton of places to plug in devices. I am overall impressed with this property.

I originally had a reservation at the Hilton which ended up being overbooked. They sent us to Hampton Inn which was just across the street. I was very pleased with the way the clerk (Ben - I think) help us. He made things right and we enjoyed our room & the accommodations.
Our room was clean and spacious. We enjoyed use of the pool and gym. Breakfast was good with many different options. If visiting Bangor consider staying at Hampton Inn.

I've read other reviews here of brown water, not enough hot water, rooms not being clean. Well, I usually stay at Hilton Garden Inns but decided to try a Hampton Inn. It costs less but I found out is not less of a hotel. The young man at the front desk was professional and courteous. My room was 104, cleaned, disinfected, plenty of hot clear water, plenty of towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner. The a/c worked just fine. The TV was a good size. The linens smelled clean and fresh. I slept well and felt rested when i woke up. The locks on the door worked. Either no one was in the rooms next to me or the walls are not as thin as others say. The parking lot is well lit. The young lady at check out greeted me with a smile and asked how was my stay. She too was professional and courteous. She printed out my receipt and thanked me for staying at the Hampton Inn. Frankly it was nice to see two young people not only willing to work but seem to enjoy their work. I just cannot remember their names. I was in the area for a job interview and I got the job.

Clean room, friendly staff. Decent little swimming pool. Breakfast was good, even if Neil hovers a little. I won’t knock the place over one overly eager to help employee.

Great experience. Rooms are very spacious and you get even more than what you pay for. Breakfast is absolutely great. We had troubles with the wifi, which wasn't a big deal, and the staff was especially helpful with it. Shoutout to Colton with the big help! Would definitely stay again!

Extremely clean, nice Staff, swam in the pool then walked across the road to the Irish pub for dinner which was great. There was a lively waitress there too. . Excellent property would stay again

Where to begin... Staff at the front desk we're incredibly friendly from the start and answered all of our questions. The hotel is right off the highway and very easy to get to and near all of the stores and restaurants. The room very very clean and we'll stocked. The beds were comfy and TV got all of the channels we wanted. The cookies in the lobby are a nice touch. The breakfast buffet had a ton of good, healthy options and was pretty decent. Not a single complaint and the staff should know they do an awesome job and not a single person wasn't friendly.
