Wife and I visited the dunes and needed something refreshing after a beautiful hot day at the beach. The large Italian Ice sign drew us in. We were glad that it did. Quality, flavorful and creamy. Only had two flavors but the Mango and Pina Colada were very good. Judging by how good they both were I'm pretty sure any choice that suits your preference would be a good pick. Owner was very friendly and we had a good chat. They also have a variety of other things if you're hungry or need refreshing.

Delicious scoops of Italian Ice and a wide variety of sweet (cold beverages, ice cream, italian ice) to savory (Chinese BBQ baos, sliders) can be found in this one stand right on the beach and parking lot. Easy access and friendly folks who can give you a quick bite to eat!

Look for the shack with the blue roof.

We got pretzels and they were amazing! My husband and I get pretzels all the time, as sort of a tradition. These were way fluffier than the ones we usually get in Texas!

My brother and I got Italian ices. They were so good. Very creamy and perfectly refreshing on the 95° day we were there.

Food is a nice general comfort food, and it is suuuuuuuupee cheap. Tastes especially good after riding kayaks, that you can also rent from the place.
