Howard Johnson by Wyndham Bangor

Clean room, comfortable bed. Pending storm tonight so came for a medical procedure in the am. I was able to park and come directly thru locked outer door into my room which was convenient for my mom.

Management and staff are great. Rooms are very clean and the location makes it easy to get every where I had to go. It is an older hotel so a little dated.

Very clean, has everything I needed, bed was comfy, and it was cute. Night manager was very nice checking me in super late. Yeah the hallways smell like smoke and perfume but the room doesn’t. I slept great and have no complaints other than wishing I’d gotten here earlier last night.

Stayed here for several days and it was awesome. The price was probably the lowest in the area. The beds and pillows were comfy and their breakfast bags, free coffee was also life. Thanks again. Will definitely be back.

What a great hotel! Friendly and efficient service, a really clean room which looked like it was recently upgraded, and a wonderful location off the highway. I had a very late check in which wasn't a problem. It felt like a safe and quiet location to stop and sleep for a night on the road. I would not hesitate to stay here again and the price was extremely reasonable. I didn't catch his name but the front desk clerk who worked in the very early morning hours of March 14th was fabulous! He was kind, patient and very professional. Keep him and thank you for a pleasant experience!

Retro, clean and inexpensive. Retro in the good way. When I came here from Dallas I specifically wanted to stay here because of my memories of this place having bangors only gay bar back int be day. I was not disappointed.

I came to the hotel 6 months pregnant with my 2 year old after searching for a hotel that took penquis while I got on my feet. Not only did they take a chance on my family but they were so kind and understanding. Also, Best cleaning system I’ve seen, very thorough and trust worthy. Thanks to our stay at Howard Johnson, my family has been able to move into our own apartment while I attend school. Highly Recommend! The owners find a way to help where they can ❤

They treated us like family. Great service and friendly. They allowed us to plug our truck in over night. As a business owner I cannot thank them enough and I recommend you stay here. Their location is convenient there are many stores and food around.

This is a nice Hotel that is pet friendly in Bangor Maine. The room has nice Stone top furniture and modern contemporary design notes. The overall cleanliness is good but I'd give 4 out of 5 for general cleaning staff laziness. Upon arrival I inspected the Room and was pleased with the overall cleanliness. The rooms only problem was not dusting door mouldings,door swing. Very great value and pet friendly.I recommended to anyone traveling with pet companion. The bed was new very comfy and free of stains I inspected on arrival and was impressed with the cleanliness....Random inspection by owner of the maids will boost them to a 3 star instantly......

Room was clean and quiet. Check in was quick and easy and the customer service was fabulous. I booked this room because they offered shuttle service to the airport. I found out upon arrival that service is no longer running due to covid. The front desk staff was so nice and helpful and went out of their way to help me with a safe solution. The manager also made sure I was taken care of and I made it to my 5:20am flight with no issues. I am most grateful and would definitely stay again!

The Howard Johnson is always my go too whenever I stay in Bangor. The rooms are updated and kept very clean, the staff is super friendly and you can’t beat the location right off 95. Very close to downtown is a huge benefit. This hotel is run by a man named Trushi who is always very pleasant and treats every customer fair and with a huge smile on his face making you feel at home. Couldn’t ask for a better experience. Can’t beat the price!!

The staff there was friendly and super helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable! The location is perfect and the restaurant located near the hotel is so good. This is probably the nicest hotel I've stayed at. You can also tell that the place is very well managed.

Needed a place to crash after a flight cancellation. Considering the price, I can really recommend this place. It‘s clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was included in my stay!

Fantastic spot to stay if you are flying out of Bangor. Rooms are very clean and they allow you to leave your vehicle if you are flying out of the airport for a fee. Very reasonable, I will definitely stay here again!

My family and I stayed at this Hotel for 4 nights. The folks were welcoming and the location was safe. They made it easier for our dog to enjoy the huge yard in the back of the hotel. The maintenance crew kept the rooms clean. We appreciated your hard work. Thank you.

Very clean. The breakfast was awesome super simple but it was delicious and I eat oatmeal every morning at home so it was perfect for me. The rooms were spotless it's smoke free so it does not smell at all. All the maids that work their are very very friendly. Also their us a pool their it's not heated but I didn't care. I had alit of fun I stayed there for four days. I stayed with my wife.

I stayed at Howard Johnson in Bangor in a room with a king sized bed. I had plenty of room to spread out and relax. If someone else had been with me it still would have been roomy. The water got hot quickly and stayed hot. The water pressure was good. There seemed to be a large number of people staying at the hotel. I was not bothered by noise from other guests. The property is well maintained and very very clean. The staff is professional, friendly and helpful.
I will book this hotel again when I am in Bangor.

I was going through a really hard time and I called and the staff went above and beyond to help me find a place I would accept a cat to stay with. they are amazing here and are a wonderful staff I couldn't ask for anything better. they have been a huge blessing to me hotel is beautiful and clean and very well equipped and conveniently located to lots of great spots.

The hotel is located in an ideal place off the highway. The staff was very professional and pleasant. The room was clean and it's a completely non smoking hotel so it didn't stink like cigarettes. It was quiet and a good place to stay and I would recommend this place to anyone.
