For the price it's very good. Easy access to the freeway. Rooms have cable tv so easy to watch sports games. Quiet decent rooms. Bathrooms clean. Plenty of parking. Free breakfast but nothing special. Only warm did is the waffle machine.

Had bad reviews online but when we got there we received fantastic service from a very nice lady at the front desk. We were put in room 168 which was beautiful and had the jacuzzi tub. The room was themed to be like a log cabin. The jacuzzi tub was amazing it had a massage setting and everything. Room was super clean and we had a wonderful time :)

We were a little hesitant because of some of the negative reviews but should not have been! The room was scrupulously clean, and absolutely huge with a lovely sitting area. Despite the proximity to both airport and highway it was quiet enough to have the windows open at night. Breakfast was awesome! Would stay again in an instant.

After reading some negative reviews I was hesitant to stay, but was delighted to find a clean, quiet, and comfortable space! Spent one night on a stopover after traveling back from Canada. Not the greatest place I’ve ever stayed, but for a motel it was great. You can tell they’ve been working on updating rooms. Huge plus was NO carpet in the room as we have a dog traveling with us (there is a $20 pet fee fyi). I appreciated the front desk attendant asking us to keep our dog on leash as that’s really important to me. Room had Roku TV. Was a little disappointed there was no fresh fruit at the free breakfast and the water pressure in the shower was low (great amount of hot water though). Overall, quite pleased and would not hesitate to stay here again!

Room was awesome! We were in Maine for two nights and had a rough first night at a cheap hotel, for an extra $50 we were able to switch hotels and it completely changed our vacation. We got the king jacuzzi room and it was gorgeous! Room was neat and clean and definitely worth the price. Everyone was super nice and polite. Very close to the city, only a few food options near by. Definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Maine!

Surprised at how nice this place was, given the low price and the location 30 minutes walk from Bangor (for us). Simple high carb breakfast, in a log cabin like atmosphere. We loved the cute decor and picnic benches around. Room was spacious, safe, clean, comfortable and quiet. Parking was hassle-free. Next to Walgreens and 1A main road, which led us to Bangor’s riverside beauty and breweries. If you’re on your way north or south, this makes a wise stop.

We have stayed at this hotel twice. Last year when i stayed, i had complaints that-

the shower water was not warm enough and I couldn't fully turn on the shower either. There was only one very thin blanket (which does look like just a bed cover)and the heater did not work properly. It was a bit cold.

However, when we visited the place this week, I could see the hotel was actually trying to take the feedback and improve the quality of the service! the blanket was much thicker and the heater and shower water worked properly! There was even a note saying the warm water could take up to 20 min or so. We were looking for a place to stay to visit acadia national park. All places even 1hour away from the lark were charging us more than 200$ per night, but this place was reasonable compared to other places trying to rip off the customers. The front desk woman was still very friendly and welcomed us. There are quite a lot of bars or restaurants to have food nearby(around 12 min by car?) I don't have any complaints about this place! Not a fancy hotel, but a very good place to rest for the next trip ;)

We got the suite with a jacuzzi and we absolutely adore it! Something you can’t get at any of the other hotels around. Very friendly staff and great prices. Will be coming back for sure!

I really don't have a bad thing to say about Vacationland. Sure it's not some 5 Star hotel but I'll tell ya, the staff was great, the rooms were clean, and the decor was Maine-tastic! I wouldn't hesitate to stop back in for a night or two next time I'm in town.

Spent one night in the king suite outback with spa tub. Very nice and clean. Nice and cool. Spa tub was so relaxing. Decent price. Did notice some riff raff outside. But it is to be expected in the area. Once inside we locked both locks, pull the shades, and relaxed. The ac was loud though but drowned out any noises outside including the traffic. We didnt eat the breakfast so we have no review on that. We left and went about the rest of our day. Staff was great. Only complaint was the loudness of the ac it was hard to sleep at times. It took awhile for the hot water to heat up but once it did it was great! We will be back!

Really appreciate the concert shuttle. Room was clean. The sink was dripping, so that was annoying while trying to sleep. Staff was friendly. Overall a good experience.

Can't really beat it for the price. Small but clean rooms. Had microwave and fridge. Good location, friendly staff.

Rented a room for a week, for a mere $400 plus. Very affordable and very clean.

I was beyond impressed with this hotel and my stay there. The desk clerk was friendly and informative at check in, and while my room was in a separate building off of the main one, the hike was worth the high quality room. Inclusion of a fridge and a microwave was a welcome surprise, toiletries were standard but the addition of a small black face cloth for removing makeup was a GODSEND. I hope all hotels in the future start putting these in bathrooms. Included breakfast was simple but quirky, and the waffles were surprisingly good. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here to anyone looking to spend some time in Bangor, but not want to pay an arm and a leg to do so.

First of all the bed was so comfortable and clean. No amount of amenities are as important as a good night's sleep.

The people were so friendly at check in and at breakfast. There breakfast in Continental but the coffee is great and there is great juice. Great waffle maker with maple syrup.

I recommend a suite. Hot tub is amazing after a long day of work. Lots of activities nearby.

Just an all around great place to relax and visit so many sites nearby.

I went with my dad to a little trip to Bangor. It was really nice. I talked to some of the staff and they seems welcoming and friendly. The beds were super comfortable, the rooms were done up nicely and cute. Breakfast was great. They had waffles, yogurt, cereal, apple juice, coffee, eggs... And EVERYTHING was tasty! I appreciate everyone's kindness. Check in was great, and so was check out. The person working the breakfast was nice. The ladies working the front desk that night/morning were super kind, super polite, and seemed great!

The rooms are clean and beautiful. The breakfast is wonderful and the staff is friendly and helpful. Even my visit with a broken ankle was enjoyable because made sure I had a room on the ground floor and one of their maintenance employee even offered to help bring in our bags to our room. They also they keep making changes to better their establishment. Will definitely stay there again in the future.
