Shopped at Bound for Freedom last year when my daughter was doing a medical rotation at the local hospital in St. Joseph, Michigan. To this date, love everything I bought, great prices, high quality merchandise. I have been unable to locate the fabulous candles I bought there anywhere. I would take the trip from Wisconsin just to re-visit that store! Very unique and fabulous!

This place is great. Responsibly sourced items that actually will put money into the hands of the families that craft the item. This stuff isn't cheap, but you can feel about your purchase, unlike at the plethora of fast fashion stores in Berrien County. The owners were very warm people, taking the time to talk through items at the store and seeking to help us find what we are wanting. One odd thing, we came in once on a Sunday afternoon when Google Maps and the sign on the door both said "open" and "we're open," respectively. Unfortunately the door was locked and there we no lights on. I would say call first to make sure there is someone there. We drove about 20 minutes from home and this was our only destination, so that was kind of a bummer.
I want to end on a high note, because I totally support their vision of helping others achieve or receive freedom. What a great place!!!

They have a really great selection of different products. A lot of stores like this only offer like keychains and simple stuff, but they really have a lot of variation. Definitely stop in here!

We stop here every year when we visit St Joe's. Love this so not only for the great items, but also because every one of them is sustainably made and supports a cause.
