The customer service and products are both exceptional. I needed to exchange a coat I was not happy with and the sales rep went above and beyond to help me find the right one. I have been a long time customer and always have had great service, but tonight was worth reviewing. We are so fortunate to have such a knowledgeable, friendly, helpful store in St Joseph.

Every time I visit this outdoor shop in St. Joe I’m once more convinced that I too can climb every mountain. This shop is gorgeous, has everything one would need to live their best outdoor life. They offer great sales, an extensive selection of products and brands, and a knowledgeable sales team. We need one in Valparaiso!

Recently made a purchase on their website as no store in my area had the item. Shipping was super fast and the employee who packed it even left a handwritten thank you note. I will definitely be shopping here again.

The selection of "high end" brands and items in this store is absolutely insane and the best I have seen anywhere for my tastes. This place makes REI look weak (I love REI). The staff was great. The only downside may be the price points as these are "high end" brands and not for everyone. If you are serious about gear and like to "buy once / cry once" go here.

I ordered a hard to find pair of Kuhl pants and they had it to me in 2 days.. They had great order and shipment confirmations as well. I highly recommend this business.

THE coolest local outfitter in SW Michigan! Their people are great and their selection is amazing. The whole St. Joe downtown on State Street is excellent and this is the best of it all!

I will only buy my outdoor gear from here. My wife and I lived in Indianapolis, IN and drove up to buy our gear from Wanderlust. They have an extremely knowledgable, friendly, and patient staff that will help you find exactly what you need. They have a big in-store selection of top rated brands in the industry. We are currently on a 4 continent world trip and 80% of our gear came from Wanderlust. I can't imagine doing our trip without their support and training.

Great place for outdoor clothing/gear. They carry all my favorite shoe brands.
The staff are HELPFUL and friendly!
They often have amazing sales! I have yet to leave empty handed.
Great atmosphere, they used the space really well in the layout and presentation.
Easy location to find parking.

Extraordinary gear hub! I randomly found Wanderlust through the Osprey website as they're a licensed pro shop (awesome), but was blown away but just how well stocked they were in all things hiking, camping, backpacking, out-of-doorsing. Even better than the selection and competetive prices, though, was the attention to detail from staff from first phone call to verify stock to actually visiting and working through my Osprey selection. Scott was above and beyond to help me understand my bag and mentally "pack" it with my own gear so I'd feel confident and familiar when finally getting out again this summer. Other staff came through and checked the approach and for as well, they were not simply in their field to make a sale but truly outfit and equip their clientele for an enjoyable experience outside. Check out the website no doubt, but if you're local (I drove an hour) make it a point to stop in an give yourself a good hour to check things out- you won't be disappointed and you'll make some new enthusiast friends in the process!

A lot of things here you can't find other places nearby. Nothing overpriced. Just good quality products with friendly crew. I'm happy this company is here. Biking, hiking, running, or camping, you'll find extremely useful products.

Wanderlust is simply amazing. Not only do they offer the best outdoor brands and products on the market, but they also have the best customer service I've experienced. Their crew is super friendly, prompt to help, and extremely knowledgeable. Each team member has specialized areas of expertise, some even holding certifications to offer tailored advice and custom fittings. Special shout-out to Scott, Caleb, Adam, and Eve for answering all my questions and setting me up with the right gear for an upcoming hiking trip. I highly recommend Wanderlust. This is such a cool shop. Everything you need to hike, backpack, or just look like you do! I really wish we lived close enough to enjoy one of the hikes they advertise.

I didn’t end up finding what I was looking for but the sales associate worked so hard trying to help me find the perfect pants that I left wishing I could have found the right thing and given them my money. I’ll definitely go back with future gear need. Great gear store and unbelievable customer service.

They had a great selection of hiking gear and clothing. The staff was helpful and knowledgeable. We were fitted for a backpack and Caleb was amazing. He helped make sure the fit was just right, was very patient, answered every question we had and even taught us helpful tips that we didn't know. It was a great experience!

I have not experienced exceptional customer service like this in a long time. Talked to Scott and Wren on the phone about a jacket order and they were on top of things and super friendly and courteous. Definitely recommend this place (or their online store).

It was my first time ordering from Wanderlust Outfitters as they had the jacket I was looking for at a great deal. After browsing thru their website and reading other reviews I decided to order. The item was shipped promptly and received in 2 days. I certainly won’t hesitate buying from them again.

Ordered some shirts on the website. I entered an incomplete address and they reached out immediately to confirm/correct, then shipped right away. Delivery was fast and packaging was environmentally conscious. Very friendly customer service folks! Will be back for sure.
