Wow. Google calls this place a "Department Store." Hmmmm. It may have been that one at a time, but over the course of 3 or 4 decades it has morphed from that into a party supply store, followed by (mostly) a bookstore with a corner of the place dedicated to Boy Scout uniforms and book supplies. Yeah. If that sounds weird, it is because it is. But hey, they have TONS of interesting stuff. Make sure you have a few hours to burn before walking in the door. The guy running the place is fun to talk to. Has a pretty old school feel to it. If you are feeling adventurous (and by that I mean, like "Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom Adventurous") then take a trip down to the basement... if you can find the light switch....

I work at Christensens from 2 to 6pm. I meet lots of interesting people in my store. We have scout supplies,sporting goods,books,toys,collectables,LEGOS,party items,consigners booths,and much more.
