Father & Son Pizzeria

I’ve been searching for a Chicago style pizza location in Southeast Michigan for quite some time. Thankfully one of the groups on Facebook suggested father and son pizzeria. I could not be more excited to have found this establishment. I called to place an order (for some reason I couldn’t do a Chicago style online) and the girl that answered was super friendly. I drove from the Rochester Hills area and it was well worth the travel. By the time we got home, Our pizza was so fresh, not overly stuffed and did not feel super heavy after eating one slice. We did a split pizza in half, one side with the different kinds of meats, and the other side was more vegetarian with pepperoni. Chef’s kiss! You have a customer for life!

Wow! Finally someone claiming to have chicago style pizza who actually does. The stuffed pizza is on point. Very delicious and this is coming from an Italian pizza snob from Chicago. Lol

I’ve been eating this amazing pizza for over 30 years. Since I was a baby. I have the best family memories of this pizza coming to my grandmas house for Sunday dinner and getting to pay the delivery driver as a child and eat this heaven. Best pizza ever. Now I take my own child here. Worth every penny. I also love their gluten free pizza only thing Ive found that’s gluten free and tastes good at the same time. Seriously. The atmosphere is clean and they always immediately help you when you walk in, even if you have to wait it’s super fast.

I came here because I have never had Chicago style deep dish pizza and I wanted to give it a try.

The staff inside were friendly and helpful. I ordered their smallest Chicago style deep dish and I wasn't able to finish half of it.

I ordered pepperoni and mushroom, I probably should not have gotten the mushroom. Mushroom might have been from a can I should have asked, but apparently you don't want wet things added to a deep dish pizza, but I don't think it adversely affected it.

There's a lot going on in a deep dish pizza. It takes 45 minutes to bake. Off hand it looks like there was a bottom layer of pepperoni and maybe mushrooms, a whole bunch of cheese, and a layer of sauce on the top.

The crust is the standard pizza crust.

Some people don't like Chicago style pizza, strictly a preference for some, but if you've never had one, this is your chance. If you've never had Chicago style pizza, just try it. I really enjoyed mine, and they seem to do it pretty well.

I'm traveling without my family, I saw was not worried about gluten free, but they do have a gluten-free crust. The gluten-free crust does contain cheese. Many celiacs cannot have dairy so that would not be possible for you.

I don't think I'll try it again, but knowing what I know now if I still hadn't tried one, I would still give it a go. And especially if you are in the area here, this is much closer than Chicago.

I knew I could never finish that pizza so I didn't try any of their other items. Their salads look really good and they have some kind of special chicken that I simply didn't have enough stomach space to try.

We like our pizza well done with browned cheese and crisp pepperoni. We have tried everyone locally but, consistently get pizza with the crust not fully cooked or soggy. I ordered a large pizza from Father and Son after a long day at the funeral home and the pizza was perfect! Cannot wait to try the chicken.

My husband and I LOVE the Chicago style pizza. We have ordered it many times and have never been disappointed!

Just moved into the area and were excited to try out the local pizza place, it did not disappoint! Service was quick and friendly from order to pick up and the pizza salad and bread sticks were all delicious! We will be repeat customers for sure!

First time trying this place; we had pizza, cheese bread and chicken wings & we were very happy with all of them. It definitely lives up to its positive reviews.

The service is really great here. Always friendly, and they always get my order right. The broasted chicken is really good. I would highly recommend Father And Son's!

I just ordered a large half cheese half pepperoni pizza and it was really good! Will definitely order from here again!

Dave (the owner) welcomed us into his store. It was our first time and he talked with us and explained the menu. We came in about 30 mins before close and he was still happy to make a fresh pizza for us.

Just picked up our pizza for lunch...DELICIOUS....!!!!...before I could even tell my husband this is the best pizza ever...he said..This is our place for pizza from now on...like the old fashioned pizzas we got years ago..yummmmm...

Hometown pizza place. Great food. I always like to stop here when I'm visiting this part of town. The owner is great too.

Normally not open on Sundays, but Dave is living Lions pride. Pizza, wings and salad were awesome!

Yummy!🍕 Tried both styles, Chicago and traditional. Will have to try each about a 100 more times to pick a favourite. So much to choose from the menu. Service fantastic, expedient, and Jen was extremely friendly and courteous.

We ordered broasted chicken, potato wedges and pizza for my retirement/birthday party. The delivery was right on time, the crowd loved the food (especially the chicken), and I wouldn’t hesitate to order from them again. Super friendly, the girl who delivered was awesome. I totally recommend!

Been awhile but just as good as I remember, glad I rediscovered this place. I forgot how much better a smaller place like this, can be compared to chains.

100% go for the Chicago stuffed pizza. It's expensive and it takes a long time but it's like lasagna but pizza.

GREAT AS ALWAYS!!! My grand kids love everything we get. They don't live near and wish they could get it at home. Guess we'll have to get your pizza and chicken every time they are here. Congratulations on so many years of such a successful business.
