Clarkston Union Bar & Kitchen

Came for brunch and it was absolutely delicious. Biscuits and gravy, french toast, breakfast burrito, pulled pork and eggs, heuvos ranchero were some of the items we ordered.

We took our friends from Canada to the Clarkston Union Bar and Kitchen for lunch. The food was exceptional. I ordered the Turkey burger and vegetarian chili. Both dishes were delicious. Our friends ordered the burger and grilled cheese. I have never had a bad meal from this restaurant. My only complaint is the noise/volume can get rather high so it makes it difficult to hear, but there is outside seating. The Clarkston Union Bar & Kitchen is definitely a favourite of ours and a place we plan to come back and visit.

A nice restaurant and bar in Clarkston. They have a wide variety of beer and wine, and a great food menu especially the Lobster Mac and Cheese.

It was my first time dining at Clarkston Union and what a unique atmosphere. All the old and original church pews were amazing! Our server was super friendly and efficient. I ordered the special of Fall Harvest Salad and it was delicious. My sister ordered the special of Hot Turkey Sandwich with Mashed Sweet Potatoes, which was also very tasty 😊

We had 2 of the specials today. One with shrimp and other with orzo and eggplant. They were both excellent! This was our 1st time here. We will definitely be visiting again.

Love this place. It's the same year after year. Mac an cheese is the BEST! Our server Jo was terrific!

Always a good stop. Working in the area with my manager and gave him the best lunch in the mid MI area!

Not only is the food always worth the drive, the quality of ingredients used elevates every dish! The steak and mushroom soup was a winner. Depth of flavor is all I can think of.

Also a corn beef sandwich that was made in house boasts what a CBS is suppose to be.

Very cool joint in Clarkston, and yes the Mac and cheese is as good as everyone says it is! I also loved the state fair lemonade cocktail. The friend I dined with enjoyed the pot pie and mashed potatoes as well as her pom martini. Would definitely go back!

Clarkston Union is a place we look forward to visiting and every time we do, we are in love with it all over again. The balsamic dressing…so darn good. This visit I had Hungarian goulash over noodles and my husband had pork. Let’s just say that these plates were clean when we gave them back…obviously a bone was left but we ate it all!!

Great waitress! So friendly and helpful 🙂 Gave us great suggestions. I loved the windows and deco. You sit in church pews, and it has a huge bar.

Guys thing we made a reservation, since this place was busy on Father's Day, mid-afternoon. We came for the Lobster Mac and Cheese and weren't disappointed. Decent beer list though I would've liked a BBA or Imperial Stout.

This was a place that we seen on Diners Drive-ins and Dives. It was well worth the stop. Everything we ordered was amazing but for us, what put it over the top, was the service. I wish I could remember our waitresses named to give her the credit she deserves. She was friendly and attentive. The location is perfect. A really nice little town with a lot of character and a converted church for a restaurant. If you go here and don't have a good time, something is wrong with you.

The food was great, good sized portions and the staff was great too, per usual. I hadn't been there in quite a while; I'm so happy we went!

The food was delicious. Wasn't neither busy nor particularly quick, but it gave us time to take in the unique esthetic. Price was right, $55 for two w/ two N/A beers. Was nice that they had 4 different N/A options; I had the Weizen and the IPNA, and both were tasty. The Jalapeño BBQ was really good and not spicy (a bit sweet); patato salad gourmet, Ruben with deli-cut corned beef. All real nice. Sorry, was talking to my hot date and not taking photos...

Amazing place! Church was built in 1847. They still use the church pews to seat you in. Pulled pork hash was incredibly good. They have a full bar too. Service was very good. Will be going back!

What a wonderful restaurant experience. The place was full capacity later in the evening so you know the food is good. Please try the Artichoke Dip with exquisite chips. The Lobster Mac & Chese was mouthwatering. Union Bar is noted fir their famous Mac & Cheese. This is a dining experience that is well worth the trip to partake in.

If you're a mac & cheese junkie like me, you'll love theirs! Pro tip - if you drive down the road to Bunkhouse Burgers you can get a take and bake pan of it to make at home and it's just as good as it is at the restaurant.

Awesome!!! The atmosphere is cozy and decor is very unique. The food is second to none, and there's endless taps of great beer!! Lobster Mac n Cheese, regular Mac n Cheese with bacon, and a kids Mac n Cheese was our choice... excellent.
