Very nice short loop after the lead in trail with hills and pine trees and a couple cool areas overlooking the water. The remote area was enough for some peaceful quiet in the winter air. Yes there was a surprising amount of doggo bombs that people don't even bother to push off the trail but mainly confined to the trail in to the loop.

One of our favorite trails to walk! It has two loops to choose from. And such beautiful views!

Really nice trails with more than one direction. It's nice and peaceful. Very beautiful. Just be careful not to fall off trees and hurt yourself like I did lol

This can be a long walk or a short walk. Has a couple of interesting trails thru the middle or off the sides to the water. Always something different to see. The dogs love the walk too! There is no playground or picnic area. No bathrooms either.

Nice place to go walk the dogs, they even provide poop bags if you forget yours. Has a small 1 mile loop and a larger loop that's maybe over 2 miles. Trail needs some mowing and brush trimmed back. Nice big parking lot could hold 20 cars. The lot entry needs some attention. It's very rough so enter slowly.

Well maintained trails through a variety of scenery. The main trail takes you on a loop around the border of the area. Some side trails will take you to an overlook of a lake and a small pond. I've seen squirrels, geese and swans, found signs of deer all around.
Takes about 45 mins to an hour to walk the main trail.

Beautiful trail and lots of clean paths. Great hiking area, not too many inclines, lots of scenery, and only about an hour or so to walk the whole loop.

Sizeable parking lot and some beautiful trails that go in and out of forest, pasture, and wetlands.

It was so quiet and peaceful. It felt nice for me because it was the first time on a trail in over a year due to medical issues and not being able to walk for 7 months. It felt good to get out on a trail and do what I love- hike and be in nature!

A nice dog friendly park. The trails are mostly 4 foot wide with a good mix of forest, and field. There are a couple of creek side spots for watering. Dog bags are provided at the H Ave entrance and the trash is emptied regularly.

Love this place. Great forest and open prairies for hiking. Varying levels of terrain, but none are terribly intense. One trail leads you to a high point on a hill over looking the lake by Robert Morris Park. Beautiful views and a great place to have a sit and just take in the beautiful treasures God has given us.

We love bringing our pups here for low-key hikes. There are two main loops to choose from and an optional scenic outlook loop. We also have done snow shoe hikes this winter and enjoyed every minute.

McLinden trails are great. A nice short nature walk on a very well taken care of trail. A great trail for a family with small children or out with the grandparents. It's also a nice trail to take your dog for a walk, but bring your own bags the trail doesn't provide any.

its just beautiful and natural. it's got everything; fields, water, heavily wooded areas and not so heavily wooded areas. it's great for taking pictures or even just to meditate in and feels like you backyard forrest growing up as a child.

Well maintained trails with a few possible routes. Short easy hike 1.7 - 2.0 miles depending on route minimal elevation. Definitely bring deep woods bug spray, and good shoes.
