Vince & Joe's Gourmet Market

I'm often leery of places (and things) labeled "gourmet". While they usually have solid selections of merchandise and good quality, there is more often than not a high price to go with. Or sometimes, just a high price.
That doesn't seem to be the general rule here. Yes, some items do have a heavy price tag but most are in line with other stores I've visited and the selection is top-notch.
I've been disappointed with the regular grocery stores fruit and vegetable variety, quality and price. That is not a concern I had after visiting here. The selection was very good, organic & otherwise. The prices appeared as good or better than the bigger chains.
I was also surprised by just how much variety they have inside what seemed, at first, a small store. The meat, seafood & ready-made areas are huge and everything looked top quality, to boot.
The store is easily navigated and well lit, the people are friendly and ready to help. What more could I want? I'll be back

Love shopping here, Carlo the butcher always takes care of me here. Family friendly and the pizza is amazing, best I’ve had since Italy. Love the take and bake option. The gluten free section is always growing, with many options. The remodel has added so much space to the store.

Wow! My first time here today. This place is amazing. Well set up. Well stocked. Friendly and helpful staff. They had really green hard avocados and I was looking for ripe. One of the workers went into the back and brought me two ripe avocados. They have a wide selection of everything. Great quality and really fresh. Lots of international options as well. This will be where I come to do my weekly grocery shopping.

Pizza!
Their round pizza is honestly in the top 3 best pizza's I have ever tried if not #1 and that's a bold statement. I've been in the restaurant industry for over 30yrs and without a doubt their round is world class. Don't believe me? Go there and order a slice and sit at their counter. Complete hidden gem!! By the way, a slice is $3... whole pizza is like $12

This is my go to place for cakes for special occasions. They have a nice selection of fancy cakes all for around $40.

UPDATE - I've visited this store a few more times since my original post below, and this place has been absolutely Amazing!!! Each time, the staff has Happily gone out of their way to assist me and other customers. Special Shout Out to Carlo at the meat counter for all his help today!! 😀✨
Original Post - I visited this store for the first time and was blown away!! This is the Absolute Best market of its kind in our area!! The organic vegetable section is the larest I've ever encountered, and their deserts are Delicious 😋 What really made the most difference was their staff was so incredibly Kind and Helpful to me, even on a busy Sunday morning! Special Shout Out to Cashier Candy!! She was Knowledgeable, Cheerful, and had a Welcoming SMILE for all her customers. Thanks Vince and Joes, and Candy!! I'll be back soon 💖😊

This is the best grocery store I’ve been to in the state of MIchigan. Excellent produce! Excellent meat counter! Excellent deli! Excellent bakery! Pizza, sandwiches, fresh bread, hot and ready meals. Great prices! Friendly crew! Clean store! Well organized!! Lots of variety!! I wish they were closer to Royal Oak, I’ll be back though. Way better than Whole Foods or anything else around. This is my favorite type of market to shop for food.

Consistently excellent food at reasonable prices. Fresh, tasty and top quality. Choices abound. Choices change probably to maintain quality for the price. All staff considerate helpful and patient. Clean store, displays, and checkout.

I LOVE Vince and Joe's! I'm not from this area, but every time I visit my Mom, I HAVE TO stop in! Everything is always so fresh and delicious! They have everything you could possibly need...fruits and vegetables, seafood counter, butcher counter, bakery, huge variety of cheeses, deli, olive bar, prepared meals to go bar, specialty desserts (cakes, tortes, cannolis, etc.), pasta, pasta sauces, salad dressings, etc.! Very impressive specialty produce market!! Staff members are ALWAYS pleasant and their prices are VERY reasonable! I picked up a bunch of produce, and THEE BEST Caesar Salad Dressing I've EVVVER tasted! I also grabbed a lovely locally made refreshment! After doing some heavy landscaping in this nasty heat, humidity and storms, I deserved an adult treat! Thank you Vince and Joe's! I'll be back in a couple weeks!

This supermarket is a gem! The quality of their products is unmatched, and the service is exceptional. I always leave with a smile on my face.

Always great! Wide selection of everything. Has all the little special items I need that other places don’t have.

It is bigger with an updated frontage now. It is located on Garfield Road, just South of Canal Street. Vince and Joe's market is a grocery store that specializes in fresh fruit and vegetables. In addition, they sell a selection of specialty food that is a bit on the expensive side but delicious. The customer service is first-rate employees that always strive to get you whst you are looking for.

It's the best store ever. Always fresh fruit, vegetables, and meat. And the employees are very kind.

Fruit and vegetables are of good quality. They last a long time in your fridge. Wonderful bake goods, lunch meat, etc. It can be a little pricey but is well worth it! The staff are awesome!! They have now enlarged this location like their other location in Shelby Township. There are many more options. With a pizza station and a full bakery. There is also a prepared food area in which they have awesome soups, cherry chicken salad, and tuna pasta salad. I recommend checking this out. It will not disappoint.

Love the new expansion! I hadn 't been here in over a year and I finally went back. What a difference. Nice and roomy now and they always have quality items. Sometimes I think they can be a bit overpriced, but if you shop the sales, you're golden! Also, go early on a weekend - they can be quite busy and the wait can be lengthy, but they do a good job of getting the people through.

Went to check their flower selection today & it was a great experience! Big selection of healthy looking hanging potted plants as well as flats of flowers & fairly priced too! This was the Clinton Twp location. The Shelby Twp location was pretty well picked over this Memorial Day weekend. Going to shop for flowers here every spring from now on!

Great store! Watch specials, they often beat the big stores. Love their butcher counter. And they are the only ones who have ham bones for soups, that I could find. Great selection of Italian ingredients for all those family dinners! And parties. Yum!

Good selection of Gluten free pasta not just the standard. Store needs to be bigger, a little crowded no matter when you go. But over all a good market.

I Love Vince and Joe's!! They have such a HUGE variety of fresh produce, meats , deli meats and prepared food and everything in General!!! They added on to their store and the new bakery section is marvelous!! Not to mention they now serve pizza!!! Make sure when you check out to go through Jane's line! She is one of the most kind and helpful cashier's there!!! I always make sure I get in her line when she is working!! Always a big smile and makes you feel like family, not just a customer!!
