The man who runs this place went above and beyond for me. I was looking for Deschutes beers and he only had one flavor so he called his distributor to find out where else the truck stops. I cruised by the other store and they had NO Deschutes beer. I returned here to buy the one flavor they had. I am so grateful for their help. The beautiful woman behind the counter is also amazing. Come here, they will help you!

Was looking for certain alcohol and had a great selection

Wonderful selections available, unique beverages are available for purchase. The exterior of building is gorgeous amd appealing.

Find just about everything you need for on the go. Good if you're traveling in and out of the city. Tourist welcome and personable establishment.

Hands down the best selection of beer I've seen. They have a beer cave dedicated to craft beer. Prices aren't bad and they even sell pizza with Saroki's inside. Perfect combination.

My husband and I Love this place. The owner is very kind and is always there to make sure he has what you need. Friendly Staff. My husband enjoys going into the cooler room where they store all the craft beer he's never been to a place like that and he can spend 45 mins in there lol man thing I guess.

Incredible selection of spirits, beer and wine along with fresh & hot food items. This is a fantastic establishment and they carry Teeq Tequila. Great pizza too!

Excellent beer choice here. Walk-in cooler with all craft beer. I can typically find single release limited series beers here as well. Clean place friendly staff. They also have taps here as well. Decent tap list mostly. You can find them on untapped. You are required to purchase their glass to fill from taps. However, you can bring them back to fill again.

Awesome beer cave and great pizzas

I love going to Barrels & Vines. It's like being a kid in a candy store. They have an incredible selection of all things alcohol and plenty of delicious food offerings. It might not sound like your first choice for picking up food, but you have to try something here from their grill. They have amazing subs, Mediterranean food, and pizza. Check this place out!

I actually went in there for piece of one of their designer pizzas. And all they had was a meat pizza slice. Wasn't what I wanted but it was pretty darn good. Always a good selection of pizzas and calzones and smoothie drinks. I don't drink alcohol but if you do, they've got an amazing assortment of beers Wine and Liquors. The store is really a beautiful place considering it is really a gas station

It looks like another gas station but inside the store there is a lot more. Great selection of beer, including craft beers and singles, wine, party supplies and food. Fresh, made on site, fried chicken, pizza, sandwiches. Everything sampled so far has been outstanding!

Owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. So, stop for gas but be sure to go in the store and check it out!

They make you feel like family! The warm greetings from all staff and the customer service is bar none. The selection and offerings of food and drinks along with access to the pizza is too notch. It's our favorite thing about living in the neighborhood!

Awesome party store, every energy drink you could ever want!! Plus a massive variety of meat sticks

Best liquor store in the area because of the staff. The manager is incredible, has given me great recommendations every time I go on everything from which bottle of mezcal, mixers, what to substitute, etc. They have a great selection, anything they don't have, just ask the manager and he will bring it in for you. Prices are higher than Meijer, but for the service and selection it is worth it. Oh and I didn't even mention their huge walk in beer cave which has a good selection of Belgian and German beers.

Their selection is unmatched across the board - countless specialty beers, unique mixers & garnishes, solid snack/app options, fun little gifts - I could spend hours in this place. And always with super friendly service. Highly recommend!

I specifically time my gas station stops to swing by Barrels & Vines to replenish my kid's chocolate milk supply and adult beverages for my wife and me. Great selection on beer, wine, and liquor. More importantly, the staff is ALWAYS friendly and offers great customer service.

Shell & Barrels and Vines Gas and Convenience on Woodward Avenue is quite a majestic refreshment stop for ones traveling the northern Detroit suburbs and mile roads. An impressivly sized building with a vast array of food, beverage and snack choices as well as a large wall of alcohol, beer cave, wine shelves, and even cigar cabinets. There are two separate food vendors inside; a smoothie bar and a hot food counter. I have only seen one or two more impressive gas and food stops in all my time on the road.
