Element Bloomington Mall of America

I enjoy coming to the Element. Everything about it is welcoming and exciting. Right down to the scent upon walking in. It's like a silent "hello and welcome to the Element" kind of smell. It brings a calm and relaxing vibe throughout the entire premises. My experiences here are never doubted or disappointed. The sweet part is the indoor pool that has adult hour from 10 pm - 11 pm. There is smoking allowed outside in the lounge area, PETS ALLOWED, and the staff is helpful,, patient, and easy to find. They always smile, and i love that. I will never go to any other hotel in Bloomington, MN, for what reason when I have The Element as a choice!

Very clean, nice new rooms. Really good breakfast and coffee and tea out all day. At night fresh brewed tea and cookies. Great front desk employees . Loved the big spacious workout room. Location to mall was good. Would have been perfect if maid didn't come in with do not disturb sign on.

Amazing location for Mall of America. Well appointed gym. Whirlpool was hot and pool is nice. They put out snacks each evening which is a very nice touch.

One of the better Marriott properties I’ve stayed at.

Our first choice for a Mall of America visit! The experience with the staff was warm and welcoming! Shout out to Jonall, Ella, and Asst GM Karen for exceeding our expectations ! The hotel is very clean, rooms have full-size refrigerators, dishes and utensils great when the pizza arrives! We appreciate the walk-in shower rather than a tub combination..it feels luxurious. Located right across from the mall and one of the best Twin Cities restaurants ( Hazelwood) is right in the parking lot! Pick this hotel for a wonderful stay in the Twin Cities!

Cannot say enough good about this hotel! They were so friendly and accommodating. They allowed us to check-in early as a room was available. Our kids loved watching the planes come and go. And the breakfast was amazing for a hotel breakfast. We will definitely make this our new regular hotel!

Room is very clean and cozy. Staff are always smiling, attentive to your needs and welcoming! One of the best Element location that I’ve stayed at all over the US.
Highly recommended if you’re looking for a place to stay. Near MSP airport and right across Mall of America. Easy to get in and out.
Parking fee should be reconsidered as other hotel in the area are not charging for parking since it’s shared with AC hotel and 2 restaurant in the same area.

We stayed at element when planning a trip to the Mall of America. The room was perfect with dishwasher and large fridge. Pool and tub were working when we were there. Not only do they have amazing breakfast options, they have mid afternoon snack and evening tea as well as coffee and tea all day! Very happy with our stay! Great places to eat all around.

Our family just returned from a 2 night stay at this property and it was one of the best hotel experiences we've had -- and we've stayed at a lot of hotels! The hotel staff was so organized, professional, and kind. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. It is one of the cleanest properties we've ever stayed in as well. Seriously, every detail was considered! We used the pool, spa, and gym and all were awesome. The location is also incredible - right across the street from the MOA and close to everything you need.

One of the best breakfast options I’ve seen at a hotel, really nice layout and food! Greek yogurt bar and espresso machine. Rooms super clean and good smelling, building and elevators lock without room keys after 10 which makes it feel super secure! Airplanes overhead in the morning but to be expected with location. Super nice gym with lots of weight lifting equipment. Fantastic hotel.

Nicole, Karen, and Nathalya are absolutely amazing. They made our stay perfect. We had a wonderful time at Element. It was incredibly clean with kind staff and great fun treats everyday (multiple teas one evening and fun snacks another). Don’t hesitate to book here. We will definitely be back!!!

The hotel is a gem. Totally upscale but also warm and inviting. Breakfast is free and truly PHENOMENAL. However, the best part is the staff. Everyone is so welcoming and accommodating. Will recommend to all and come back frequently!

I could not be happier with our experience! The cleanliness, the breakfast, the coffee, the room… very impressed! The gym was awesome and the location is so great. We will be back. If you’re looking for a MOA trip this is an excellent spot to stay.

Amazing room very big with full kitchen. Parking is mostly covers so if you have a larger vehicle you cannot fit. But the staff was very nice. Breakfast was great super close to mall of America.

Pros: Room was perfectly clean, very hot shower, cold AC, blackout blinds, silverware, tupperware, 2 desks, good wifi. Shower was well designed - somehow dry after just an hour with no fan.

Cons: Plane noise. Fortunately I'm used to it. Maybe you can drown it out with the room fan.

The hotel was felt overall open and airy in its decor. At the front desk, Ella and Willi were welcoming and professional. They also went above and beyond by helping me with a car issue. The rooms are big and comfortable. The complementary breakfast had a good continental selection and hot food too. The gym was fairly big and had all the basics for a solid workout. If you don’t want to spend time at the mall, there is a beautiful nature preserve that’s about a twenty minute walk from the hotel.
Overall, it was a relaxing break.

This is a beautiful hotel with fantastic amenities in a prime location. We stayed for a weekend in a mobility accessible King Studio (Room 602). Check-in was simple using the Bonvoy app. We got a parking pass at check-in to place on the dash and accessible parking was available near the entrance and in the ramp. You know that first impression when you walk into a hotel? A+ here. What a beautiful, comfortable lobby that actually makes you want to hang out.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was set up perfectly for wheelchair access with a roll-under sink and nearly everything within reach while seated. It was also fully stocked. There was an awesome little table near the chair that my wheelchair could roll right up to and under (this is rare!) I used it not only as a lap table on the chair, but also to eat when we got take-out from the nearby pizza place. All lights, the thermostat, and the blinds had seated reach controls. The bed was a perfect height for transferring, had room underneath for a hoyer lift and was incredibly soft. The floor was entirely rollable with 1/2 of the room being linoleum and 1/2 being tight weave carpet. Perfect!

The bathroom was large with plenty of room to maneuver a wheelchair. The sink was a roll-under with easy to reach controls. The lights were motion activated if you left the switches on. The toilet was a bit too high for me. It did have plenty of room next to it for a side transfer. The transfer shower was just "ok." It was set up properly but getting the right temperature was difficult as right when I'd get to the warmth I wanted it would shut off. That got annoying. I also couldn't use both shower heads at the same time which I like to do to relax (also annoying). The provided soap and "conditioning shampoo" don't smell good so I suggest you bring your own if you like pleasant scented shower soaps and separate shampoo and conditioner vs all in one. The water stayed in the shower which was excellent. All in all, not the best bathroom, not the worst.

Breakfast was absolutely wonderful. There were plenty of different foods to choose from. Even freshly made pancakes were available. There was hot oatmeal, cold cereals, muffins, yogurts, fruit, eggs, sausage, churros, waffles, toast, and more. Fresh juices and coffee were also available. Nothing was empty at any time we went down for breakfast which was really nice to see.

We didn't use the pool but did look in and there was a handicap lift for both the main pool and the hot tub which was great to see.

We'll definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Karen and Nicole were super helpful and friendly. The property is very modern and clean and the bed was very comfy. Will definitely stay here again.

A very nice place, that is great for families. It includes a pool, breakfast, and decently spacious rooms. Also the rooms have a dish washer, sink, stove, and mini fridge.

I don’t say this lightly… this is easily one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had in my life. The staff was extremely welcoming - almost family like, on top of a handwritten note welcoming myself and family to the hotel. I can’t believe how clean and nice the room is. Easily my favorite hotel in the area, you will NOT be dissatisfied about anything. Well worth the price, and easy parking and check in too. Can’t say enough great things about this place.

Beautiful and close to Mall of America. Yummy breakfast included and a Jura espresso machine. Very nice and clean rooms.
