India Palace

India Palace is a great place for Indian outside the Twin Cities, and just about your only choice for Indian in the Mankato area. Regardless, India Palace is great. I was so happy to find good Indian food and they accommodate spice levels really well. I found that their “3” was a bit too mild for my taste (I prefer the spicier 4 or 5), but was just right for my companion. I love the Lamb Vindaloo and will be back soon to try some more dishes!

Quiet afternoon (NYE), but very happy I stopped in for a lunch. Delicious fare, excellent and attentive service. The garlic naan was actually garlicky enough for my taste; that's a feat. I hope to return!

Food was perfectly seasoned and spiced. I ordered the Mushroom Paneer masala Balti and was floored by the flavor. Rice was perfect and flavorful. I have always ordered the mango Lassi in the past but now after having their Strawberry Lassi I may order that going forward. Thank you for such a great lunch.

This place is a home away from home every time I stop in! Sometimes for take out, sometimes with friends and when I decide to treat myself I enjoy their comfort food while I get a bit of work done. They deliver every time. I’m lucky to live where I can taste a bit of India whenever the mood strikes. 👌🏼

Beautiful, clean and felt very authentic. The Lamb curry I had was seasoned perfectly and tasted great. At first I thought the portion seemed small for the price point, but after I was finished I was stuffed. I would gladly come back again.

If you're looking for something new to try their lamb Madrasi is to DIE FOR. Oh my goodness. I love it. India palace always has such friendly staff, and its always worth the price. I am so thankful that we have such wonderful Indian food so close to home!

The food was delicous. I had the Josh chicken and Garlic Naan. Very good service. Would recommend to anyone to give it a try. I think try something else next time. Hard to decide. Everthing looks good on the menu.

This was the first time we came here. The food was excellent! Best Indian food we’ve ever had! Very fresh and clean and the atmosphere was comfortable.

We decided to do a carry out order from India Palace. Jay helped me place an order for my family and she was absolutely lovely! Food was a 10/10- my whole family loved everything. We will be back for Jay alone!

This place was great! My fifteen-year-old daughter can sometimes be a picky eater and I was surprised to hear her say "this is some of the best food I have eaten." It is awesome to have excellent old world flavors right here in southern Minnesota.

Photos maybe don't do justice with how good the food was, but definitely the best North Indian food I've had to date, and that's after eating at Bawarchi, Persis, and Amaravati in the Des Moines metro area (all great places too). Chai was delicious as well and auntie was super nice 😌. Another blissful experience.

Always a great experience here! From the friendly greetings to the grateful partings & the food & service in between, I've never been disappointed. If you enjoy anything in the way of ethnic, spicy, flavorful, or well balanced food - try it!

I love this place! My husband and I have eaten here many times this year. We’ve really been trying to support local restaurants during the pandemic. India Palace is our favorite place to stop when we’re in Mankato.

All of the staff are incredibly friendly. The food always comes out hot, fresh, and delicious. Our personal favorites are the garlic naan, the Gobi Manchurian Balti (favorite thing on the menu) and the Vegetable Biryani. Their chai and rice pudding are great options if you want something sweet.

All in all, I would highly recommend visiting if you’re in Mankato! There aren’t a ton of local options, in the area but this is a true gem.

Very friendly staff. It’s hard to find food with real spiced heat in the Midwest. Thank you to India palace for making the balti extremely hot as I requested. 10/10 this might be the best restaurant in Mankato. You guys rock! Thank you.

My first time having curry. Left the resturant so full I couldn't move. Leftovers were just as good. I will be returning to consume more food in the future ❤

The atmosphere is clean, warm, and inviting. The fragrant smells are amazing and appetizing. The service was attentive and friendly. We ordered the Non-vegetarian Dinner for Two (Choice of Lamb or Chicken): 2 Veggie Samosas, Tandoori Chicken, Tikka & Boti Kebab, Chicken Curry & Vegetable Curry, Original or Garlic Naan, served with fragrant rice, and Gulab Jamun for dessert. The food was sensational!

Can't complain. The food is absolutely good. Portion is smaller than expected but the taste I'd absolutely awesome... Buttered naan is great as well as the mushroom Tikka masala...

I wish I could click picture first but I was hungry, Anyways Food quality is pretty much similar like home food as I’m driving truck nationwide only few place offer you less spicy food now I found Indian Place. No need go to place you may order on Grub hub, Thank you very much WMK

My wife and I tried something new…. We stopped and was very impressed with helping us pick a choice off the menu as well how great the food was… definitely going back

I seriously always forget to take the picture before eat. But the garlic naan is really delicious so have it’s gone already. Meals are always really good here.
