Fantastic selection. Staff are always helpful and personable at checkout. This is my main stop for the "essentials". Good seasonal rotation, does not offer the sheer variety that Mankato Hilltop does but great wine offerings at this store.

Tons of sours! I drive 1 hour, 20 minutes just to come here. Prices seem fair and great selection of cold brews. Even a better selection of sours than some in mpls. Great find a d fantastic location

Very informative. I asked for a specific wine the gal was prepared with prompt directive on its where abouts. Witching the store. Also when asked for a similar wine in taste she nailed it. After trying the wine of course I’m very please with her recommendation. I wish I had gotten her name. If I go back I’m going to have to ask lol. Cause chick knew exactly what I was looking for.

Incredible selection for anywhere nearby (other than running up to the cities). The prices are very reasonable and they have really good deals. Staff is helpful as well, although I've never really tested their knowledge on comparing higher end liquor.

The largest collection of wine and beer in the area. The space is well kept, the service is top notch, and the variety is great.

Great prices on liquor and beer in bulk. Cheaper prices than most places in town and in surrounding towns. They have more of a selection here than they do at the MGM in Saint Peter too. You can find just about every brand you can think of. They also have lots of deals and sale items in the front. They ID everyone who is with you so be careful about that.

I have to hand it to this place; they have a great selection! They happened to have bottles of both the 2016 and 2017 Surly Darkness on hand when I visited on 12/23/17. Considering that brew used to be tough to find, having more than one year available this time of year is a pleasant surprise. Also, the staff went out of their way to help me find what I came for. When the first person I asked didn't know where the item was located, they found another staff member who efficiently pointed me in the right direction.

Went in for some summer holiday drinks. I was able to easily locate what I was looking for. It was rather busy but still a speedy check out wait. All of the employees smiled at me when I smiled at them. Service was great. I even got a free sample to try something new! Best liquor store in Mankato hands down!

Huge selection!! I usually only stick with my few favorites though. Always great prices and I do notice they usually have a lot of good deals, also depending on what your looking for. I have been going to this MGM for about 2 years now and the staff have always been friendly! There are even a few who recognize me and sometimes we chat while at check out, nice to know they don't just ring you up and say have a good day. Friendly conversation is key in a place where you want your customers to return!!! Best part about this location is I can't count how many times I have gotten off work later than expected and rush to get there before they close and I have walked inside literally 2-3 mins before closing time and they still greet meet happily and I have never noticed any annoyance from anyone as most places would frown upon that. Thank you MGM Mankato!!!! You're the best around!!!

My friend is a manager here and all the employees are great. The selections and prices are the best around the area. I drive through Mankato on my way to visit family in Southern Minnesota and do my best to stop here for my libations and say hi to Chris! 😊

They have a guy named Harrison that works there. He deserves a raise. Outstanding customer service. I’ll legit only go here because of him.

First, it's a great place, a nice huge selection available for anything you're in the mood for. Second, the staff are so nice, and quite wonderfully helpful. Giving their genuine opinions, to help decide what to get. The atmosphere is pleasant, uplifting, and cheerful, everyone's always in a good mood, and it's not hard to be when you're there. With them being open now on Sunday's nice as well, makes it less busy. I recommend the Strawberry Moscato they carry, it's sweet, but not too sweet, definitely a refreshing, and delicious dessert wine to perfect the evening.
