Holiday Inn Express & Suites Eagan - Minneapolis Area, an IHG Hotel

I just have to shout out to Holiday Inn Express Eagan, especially Courtney, the front desk clerk. We were warmly greeted, promptly taken care of and easily made it to our immaculate room. During our two night stay, Courtney gave us extra towels each time we asked, and kindly greeted us every time we entered the lobby. The pool was in great shape, and there were plenty of food options within walking distance. The area felt safe, everything was well lit and in working order. After staying in hotels in every major chain over the past year, this one easily stood above the rest. 10/10 would return and recommend.

I spent 3 weeks in this hotel and it has one of the best service teams I have come across. After this point, I am planning to only book IHG hotels anywhere I travel.

It has all the necessary amenities that you'll need during your stay.

I would just request a "Pull Up" bar for the gym.

We stayed in an accessible king suite on the 2nd floor for 2 nights.
Check in was fantastic. The young lady working at the desk was so friendly. The desk here is fully accessible for wheelers! That's so rare.
I could fully move my chair throughout the room and could reach everything and make full turns everywhere except the right side of the bed. There was room under the bed for a hoyer lift. The bed is very high for transferring from chair to bed though!!

The bathroom was great! This was the first time I've seen a towel holder set next to the seat (correct!) at a hotel. The soap and controls were within reach both in the shower and at the sink. The toilet was at the correct height and had room to transfer. I loved the sliding door.

The room also had a low electric control for the blinds. The thermostat was also reachable but I did have to roll in and back out to use it (right side of the bed).

Breakfast was good, though not accessible. I couldn't see everything from my chair and couldn't reach the back. I had to have my husband grab what I wanted and tell me what the muffins were as I definitely couldn't reach or even see what they were (too high up). A lot of things were set back on the counter which was pretty wide and tall to begin with.

All in all it was a lovely stay and I'd recommend it.

We stayed here while visiting MN from MI. The room was clean and the beds/ bedding was super comfortable! The pool was small, but every time we went down to it, there were no other people, so the size didn’t matter much. The breakfast was great! They had bagels, muffins, eggs, sausage, hard boiled eggs, juice, coffee, fresh fruit, yogurt, and oatmeal. The dining area for breakfast was really nice and clean. Every single staff member we came into contact with was super friendly. Overall, our stay was great and we’d definitely stay here again!

I stay here fairly often and it's always clean with friendly staff. They are one of the few holiday inns that still have a decent breakfast.

Stayed at the hotel for one night and did the park and fly.
We leave stayed at hotels close to the airport before and have usually gotten rides from a hotel employee to and from the airport. This hotel set up rides for us with Uber and it worked great. Instead of waiting for someone to come all the way from from the hotel to pick us up our ride was there in a few minutes.
Hotel is nice, wonderful staff, restaurants within walking distance, easy access. We actually went to the HyVee grocery store near by and picked up a couple of salads for dinner.
I would highly recommend this Holiday Inn Express for a trouble free beginning and end to a trip.

This is the BEST hotel to stay at if you're in the area. Night front desk customer service is excellent. I had an issue with the truckers, and they understood the issue. Worked quickly and efficiently to find a resolution for the future.

I routinely have to stay at IHG Hotels 4 times a month minimally.

Nice modern rooms. Great Location. Breakfast was as expected and slightly different each day. I would definitely stay again.

The water pressure in the shower was low in my opinion. Also the water drainage from the floor above was super loud and right beside the bed. It sounds like it's just leaking through the wall and not running in a pipe. Running the HVAC fan continuously was enough to drown out the noise though.

Nice, clean room. I want to say "thank you" to Jonathan for helping me get a last-minute room after my other hotel reservation fell through. Jonathan was extremely helpful and patient while everything was sorted out.

Very centrally located only like 15 minutes away from the Mall of America and like 10 to a 24 hour White Castle! The rooms were nice and well kept, they had hearing impaired rooms which is something that I have never seen before, but was super cool! They had a full breakfast every morning and a nice heated pool! Over all our weekend at the holiday Inn was a great success and enjoyable!

Great service at hotel. They had a wonderful overnight front desk person Ryan. He created a warm feeling. Also, they have a wonderful breakfast in the morning. Would like to see a better recycling program and not use non compostable items or use reusable items for plates. It’s close to the Airport and the hotel arranges rides to the Airport. It also has a pool and workout room as well as a nice patio.

Courtney at the front desk was very helpful. Had suggestions for dinner.

There is no hot tub.

We arrived at about 1:00 in the morning needing a room. The front desk woman, who said she usually worked at the Best Western next door, was phenomenal. She helped me use points I have accrued through business travel, was polite and friendly. Room was clean, breakfast was as expected for an HIE, location is good for getting around MSP. Couldn't find anything to complain about with the hotel, and can not say enough good about the clerk who was working that night.

This has been our best hotel stay this year! Super clean rooms, comfortable beds, they also set up a crib upon arrival in our room for our little one and had a quite a few different options for breakfast! Which was a huge plus for us! Definitely plan on returning and will recommend to others!

Excellent stay experience all around. The front desk staff was incredibly kind and fulfilled every request we had. Our room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was great as well. Would recommend this hotel to anyone passing through.

We have been here over a week. We had a house fire and needed to find a place to stay with our dog and two cats. It was late at night and the people on the phone were very accommodating and very very nice. Our stay has been exceptional. It made a very traumatic time be very bare able. We were excited to see the small refrigerator and microwave which was an extra surprise. I utilized the fitness room, pool and laundry. All were clean, user friendly and fantastic. I was delighted at how inexpensive it was to do laundry! Thank you again to the staff and people of this lovely place!!!

The staff here are very accomodating and really nice. The rooms are spacious. Nice gym, patio area and business center with computers. Its pretty close to downtown also and there are several restaurants in the vicinity. They even have a Dunkin in the parking lot! Highly recommend El Loro next door if you are looking for good Mexican food.

Loved the room. Everything is so neatly set up. what I liked especially was the HDMI connections near the bed for charging my phone. we are using this location as a park and fly, we will review again once we return.

My husband and I stay here for 3 nights every 2 months due to me needing medical treatment at a nearby clinic and we have come to feel like this is a second home. The rooms are well appointed and always clean. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The beds are wonderfully comfortable and my husband loves the nice desk and chair to help him work remotely. Awesome hotel.

Enjoyed 5 nights in Eagan, MN for wedding receptions. The staff and facilities are excellent! They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, comfortable, and served a really good hot & tasty breakfast. The gym was very clean with nice equipment.

Great staff, comfortable beds, healthy work-out, and nice breakfast…. We couldn’t ask for anything else!
