Regency Hospital - Minneapolis

So far it has been a good experience. Thankful for the
care given my friend. He is not strong enough to speak. Yet he would whisper, etc. if any problems.Hopeful that they can get him off the ventilator. This hospital is generally very good at rehab. I would recommend people taking turns watching your family member if they can't speak or use hands.
Post notes for nurses to wet their mouth, etc. favorite shows of patient, etc.

The staff are really good. They joke around with you and really get to know you. The food is really good and makes a huge difference, it's a much better stay with good food. Doctors are really good and explain everything real good.

I am currently and have been receiving care here at Regency hospital. I have read the above comments, I can't disagree about the building being dated maybe some of us can say the same about ourselves lol. What's important is what's inside and inside is a great staff that' has met my needs where I am at. I wouldn't hesitate recommending to family and friends Regency hospital if it ever comes up. From myself to the entire staff. Thank you

Was fighting wounds for 2-3 years. Almost got it healed in a month at my stay here. (3 weeks)

Note: I was in this hospital for 3 weeks to just get Wound Care. I'm manual wheelchair bound and paralyzed from the waist down. Very independent.

Food here is the best I've had and I been to a couple hospitals. Double ordered. Huge portions.

I received wound care EVERY DAY. Other hospitals would only do it 3x a week.

This is my second stay at Regency hospital so that should show something. Everyone is so personable, caring and funny. The nursing staff is very understanding, listens to what I have to say and respectful.

The nursing staff and all the staff were very thorough and considerate. Feels like family and made the stay so much easier than I could have imagined. I would definitely recommend Regency.

My stay was excellent, kept constantly clean, very pleasant people and if I’d want to be in a hospital it would be Regency. Nursing staff are amazing!

PT team was very good, nursing and aides were very nice and good. Kitchen staff were excellent. Housekeeping was very good too.

Staff was unbelievably amazing. Everyone who took care of me, from nursing, aides, respiratory and physical therapy went above and beyond. The staff at Regency saved my life.

Nursing staff was amazing, food was really good, PT/OT are very kind, loving, encouraging and really motivated to get me to go home and was like a light at the end of the tunnel.

All staff were very kind and attentive, especially the therapy team who got me back on my feet.

My stay at Regency was wonderful. Therapies are wonderful, they motivate you, and they give you encouragement to push yourself further. They are very quickly to praise when you do a good job. When I came to Regency I could only walk 4 steps and 4 weeks later I walked 206 ft. Stairs are next and to walk unassisted is my goal.

I was terrified of sending my mom to Regency because of the reviews. The case manager at Regions suggested that I visit Regency for a tour. Hardie did a great job at convincing me that Regency was not what I thought it was. I'll say that my mom received the best care ever. Doctor Hauer was awesome. The respiratory folks got her trach out, and Regions told me that she was going to live with the trach. Thank you to rehab and all the great nurses - Janette nurse was the best of all.

Everyone pays attention and I got very good care, food is fresh and delicious. PT/OT were very encouraging and helpful.

All staff from Regency Hospital were exceptional. Haddie, Freesia, Evelyn (nurse), RA Matt, RA Larry and many other health care providers provided compassionate, loving care for our mom and guidance for her family throughout her 24 day stay there (7/23 - 8/16 2022). Our mom had the additional obstacle of a trach unit for breathing, for which they provided the proper care needed.

We truly felt they cared for our mom’s well being. They listened carefully and were very responsive to all of our needs and questions. We highly recommend Regency Hospital for your loved one’s care.

Aides and nurses are pretty good. Overall experience at Regency is satisfactory.

Everyone did an outstanding job and the staff were a delight to work with. Basically they personalized and humanized being in a hospital for over a month. Their presents made it so much easier to bare and that is appreciated.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say...the staff was incredible and they truly loved my husband who was there for 4 months. I also loved how they treated our family and myself. My husband is now in a TCU closer to home and because of the amazing care that he received at Regency he is doing really well considering where he started...love, love, love the staff....all I can say is, take the time to get to know each one of them. Ask questions AND get involved....the staff is truly dedicated to getting your loved ones "whole" again....thank you all at Regency Hospital. ...

The nursing staff is caring and usually efficient. They really care about me getting better.
I love all of the Respiratory therapy staff. They were kind and gentle. They explained things so I could understand them. Sometimes more than once.
They could have a 10+
Physicl therapy ladies were very encouraging and helpful. My injuries made usual therapies difficult to impossible. Theyare truly happy with my progress.

Overall I had a great experience while at Regency Hospital. The staff was professional, compassionate and caring. They pushed me to heal, but not any faster than necessary. They got me through the hardest time of my life.
