I am local to the Twin Cities and had no idea this wonderful nature area was so nearby. In the brief time I was there, I saw deer, turkeys, and hawks.

I have been telling everyone I know about this hidden gem.

The nature center is also delightful and a great place to take young people.

My wife and I love this nature center. We would frequently walk the loop during Covid. Every season has its beauty. The fall displays stunning colors, we often see Deer, I’ve picked up owls on my Merlin App, and the education center is fantastic. I love all the work they do.

Hidden gem. New, well-designed nature center and set of trails around a small lake and wetland. Tucked in among the residential neighborhoods of the first ring suburb and backing up against the (reasonably well-hidden) I-394 corridor, it was an unexpected island of peace on a weekday morning. Encountered maybe a dozen walkers in 40 min on the trails.

Really cool trails and water views. Floating walkways and wildlife. Lots of dragon flies. The animals are so tame. Deer just look at you as you walk by and ducks almost pose for pictures.

Attended an event and arrived early so I could take a walk and check out the trails. Lovely area, can't wait to visit again and spend some more time here!

Modern facility. Lots of activities. Observe lots of children in what may have been a summer camp and they seemed very happy. A couple of interesting sculptures at the entrance. Nice clean bathroom. The duck weed covered pond. Hosts turtles for sunning. I really enjoyed the bee hive display. Much cooler walking on the tree shaded path.

This nature center is tucked in away in a neighborhood. It has an amazing indoor space to explore, an adorable playground and picnic area. There are walking and hiking trails to explore the grounds. They had a story stroll setup on our visit. Highly recommend for all families with kids of all ages!

A beautiful oasis of nature in the city. I'll definitely be coming back here to hike. Only down side is that it was crawling with family photographers on a beautiful fall afternoon, so it wasn't quite as peaceful as it might be other times. Nice, well-kept trails.

It is located in a nice little environment ! It has a playground near it! Your kids gonna love this place ! Have not entered the center but explored it’s surrounding ! Will come again because it got an indoor play ground like place ! when it gets cold and won’t able to go outside ,it will be a perfect place to be in with a toddler !

This is a hidden gem in the suburbs! The nature center has recently been remodeled and is beautiful with a lot of things to do for kids. The park has a variety of climbing structures and a water table play area. The paths are incredible and offer the perfect spot for a simple stroll, longer walk, or even a moderate hike. We love this spot!

I came here on a whim to take photos and had a great time. I ended up walking the whole lake, meeting people (and even taking their picture). I saw and heard wildlife everywhere! Birds, chipmunk, boxelder beetles, and I barely saw a fawn in the brush. I will definitely return to walk and photograph this trail again.

The walk around the lake is lovely and a good quick workout. We went shortly before sundown and stayed til twilight. The sunset over the lake was beautiful from several angles.

Loved the trails but the inside space was our favorite! Animals to see and fun interactive play space for littles. Free to the public!

Rented a room for a work meeting. The facility was gorgeous and had everything we needed. The day was a bit bleak, yet walking around the trails was still beautiful.
